  1. Ang saya! I had a great fun… Congrats to all the finishers especially the 42k runners! Saludo ako sa inyo……

  2. anyone here willing to trade finisher shirt? my Large to your XL. dasma cavite or ayala makati are only. 0932-3180-737. also congrats to all 42k runners.

  3. 1st 42K…I broke downin tears when i hit the FINISHLINE!!! Now i can say i’m a runner after succeeding this event, the pinnacle of every race…MILO NATIONAL MARATHON

Congrats to all the finishers.

  6. My first ever competition race. This is my first ever competition race. My first ever sub2.5. Ang saya. Kinaya ko magisa without boyfriend. Kasi nasa 42KM siya. Pareho namin nakuha medal & certificate. Looking forward to next year mag42KM na ako. :D good job Milo! i can say na I’m an official Half Marathon runner. Haha

    • Hello marty, I asked the milo personnel upon registration and they said na first come first serve po ang finisher shirts kaya hindi nila hiningi ang (prefered) sizes ng mga finisher shirt for 42k runners.

  8. Another great run from Milo! Except sobra ung 21k, more than 22k sa GPS. Muntik ng di umabot sa medal. And ung mga 5k participants na sinakop buong daraanan. Nothing against them pero mas nakakapagod ung maghanap ka ng butas para makalusot sa kanila, considering you’re running against time.

    • yap. eto rin karamihan ng reklamo ng mga kasama ko (di kasi ako nakatakbo e) sana magawan ng paraan na iba ang route ng 3k at 5k tutal most of them e hindi naman runners. nothing against them as well. IMHO

yung iba pa raw may mga monopod, muntik na tamaan sa mukha ung friend ko. tapos kada km marker (21k and 42k) nagseselfie. at na-drain ang hydration station dahil sa kanila! why do they even need hydration kung naglalakad lang naman sila?!

anyways, such a great experience kasi first time ko mag-volunteer. add to that sa finisher area ako na-assign and i got to see the top finishers on their winning moments! :D

esp when i got to see my friends with their own hard-earned medals. ang saya lang sa feeling! :D

hopefully makatakbo na ko this finals ;)

  9. I think the distance is more than 43km. Spoke to many runners who used gps. I should have made it sub 5 huhuhu. I salute all 42 runners. I have observed there are more strong marathoners good job! Just wondering what happened to the runner who collapsed at the at the 40th km mark. Good thing the ambulance was there within seconds. Hope he is fine. Overall it was a good experience as always with Rio. Good job!

  10. Comment lang! sana hindi burahin ng ADministrator

    7. but overall i give 3.5 star over 5 star…

    • Sorry ha.. i want to reply on your comments… siguro nde naman lahat nakaranas ng comments mo… i just comment for 42K…..
      8. Hats off ako sa MILO!!!!

by the way, observation at opinion ko lang ito… :)

      • i respect your opinion… ganyan talaga wala naman talagang perfect na race hehehehe basta nag enjoy parehas tayo..

      • True. Hile-hilera sila lakad at selfie. Paano marinig ung polite na “excuse me”.

pero apir sa runrio for reminding everyone online on the dos and don’ts during the race. sana lang madagdagan ng concrete preventive measures. :)

  12. Despite of negative comments before the event, particularly registration, Milo Marathon concluded successfully. Generally, well organized, even yun panahon nakisama… Thumbs up to the committee and organizers of this event. Congratulations to all finishers! Dun sa mga hnd umabot sa cut-off (kung meron man) dnt give up, train harder for next year. In my opinion, it is more fulfilling to finish a race na may konting challenge… Congrats again! :)

  13. I enjoy the run and everything..wala akong masabe..may carpet pa pag dating ng finish line..d nga lng nka sub5..lagpas ng konti..43k+sa orasan ko…anyway,Congrats sa lahat ng tumakbo..see u on december

  14. Congrats to all finishers ^_^!
First time kung tumakbo sa Marathon after college.
With just limited training for 5 weeks every weekend, still satisfied with the outcome.
I finished 10k for 1:07 hr kaso maraming chicks nakakauna sa akin na hindi ko mahabol-habol.. Haha
    Next time 21k na.

  15. Some areas are very dark and the roads are not concrete on those dark areas. Sana nag set up sila ng ilaw. Singlet’s material is a bit rough. Im expecting more kasi its their 50 years but a bit disappointed! We spend a lot ( coming from the province) just to join this sana ma improve next year.

  16. My second 21K but my first to run with a bruised ribcage which made me breathe hardly but I didn’t feel any pain in my ribs from the start to finish.this is the 1st time I felt pain in my legs while approaching the finish line.approximately 200 meters to the finish line and I felt I cannot make any more steps,I saw runners being assisted by medics at the sides.what prompted me to continue and finish were the cheers from the organizers chanting “kaya mo yan sir!” “Konti na lang may medal ka na!”.upon approaching the finish line, tears fell not because of the pain but by the medal given to me.when the pain subsided, I went to the lootbag claiming booths and there I saw Coach Rio who gave me a bonus selfie shot. What a nice experience.

      • Hehe nice one. Some people, just so that they can join the discussion would post just about anything- not minding whether it borders on stupid and crazy hehe. Daming ganyan dito

(at first i thought this is a joke, oh well) o_O *peace*

  17. In fairness, hiniwalay nila yung finish line ng different distances, Pero kawawa pa din mga ” more serious runners” dun sa “casual runners/walkers” Mahirap po mag-weave between walkers (who choose to walk side-by-side, spanning the width of the road) AFTER running 19km.

Regarding the bananas, I think the 21km and 42km runners needed the extra fuel more than the shorter distance runners. No intentions at be elitist here, just stating the truth. Sinadya ding ilagay yung saging siguro away from the 10k route. :)

  18. I like how the event was managed at least sa 42k. Aid stations is more than adequate although diluted yung gatorade kasi hinahaluan nila ng tubig pero no hatm done.

I like the shirt and medal. Worth it ang pag achive sa cutoff though i didn’t broke my PR. Lungs are willing but the legs are pretty much given up on 38k mark. Undertrained = 50 mins for the last 6k.

Buti nakasurvive. Should have not taken long run for granted.

    Congrats to all finishers

  19. Ran the 42k. Thank God for the good weather. The run was well organized. Bit dark in some areas. My first half was ok, the second half was painful. Cramps, ITB pain, and paltos. Walked 30th to 42nd km with stiff legs. Buti na lang meron ice. Also got hungry last few kilometers. Still I was able to make it before cut-off. Kaya ngayon eto holiday recovery

  21. I am swapping my Medium to your Large or XL… a big please! This is my first Full Mary and I want to be able to wear it. Nagkaubusan din kasi. Big thanks! :)

  22. “Runner on your left!”, “Runner on your right!”, for an event with a cutoff time, there sure were a lot of walkers, I mean I too walked a bit a few times to catch my breath, but went off to the side when I did. So I apologize to those I may have shouted at, especially those groups that looked like they were taking a stroll in the mall or something. I think I twisted my knee avoiding some of the walkers.

No complaints on the hydration stations, some gatorade cups were not that cold but most of them were.

    Bananas? There were bananas?

Course route was fine except when we merged with the 5k group, I dont remember being that indifferent when I was running that distance.

Wasnt able to catch the water shower, must have turned it off before I got there, was wondering why the street was so wet, found out from the rest of my group that went ahead, bummer.

Singlets from last year were better, at least it had some sort of branding, I was expecting the same this year. I guess thats why some runners used last year’s singlets instead.

Overall it was a good run, not the best from runrio but not the worse race event I’ve been to either. Definitely going to do the milo run next year.

  23. Swap my Medium FinisherShirt + Php 500 to your XL FinisherShirt. text me @ 09163189354 Congrats to all finishers!!

  25. achieved my sub 1 10k goal (considering the fact that the 10k was actually 10.5k in total distance). Well done Rio!

  26. Enjoy the 42k…base sa gps ko at sa kakilala ko na meron gps more more or less 43k nga…but still iba pa din ang MILO sa lahat ng 42k na natakbuhan ko.. kita kits na lang sa december. Start to train again.

    • +1.. if you would check the GPS tracks of these devices on Buendia cor Ayala Ave and BGC areas, zigzag/ haywire/ way-off ung tracks…weak GPS signal/ hi-rise bldgs cguro dahilan..so may inaccuracies nga.

  29. Knock knock .. Any Good Samaritan out there 42K .. My finisher shirt is small and I need medium or large sayang po kasi Hindi magagamit .. Sana po may willing Dito makipag swap .. Thank you .. 09168911360 .. Willing to add cash .

  30. I thought I wasn’t prepared for a 42k run due to the frequent rains, it turned out sakto lang ang almost 5 days rest before the marathon. I finished my first full marathon without much injury, mga minor scratches lang.

The markers would help in encouraging the runners, it may not help in their/our speed but it would give a sense of achievement. I was looking for the markers too. Last year, yan din ang kulang sa milo marathon, yung distance markers, kung walang nakasulat na “kaya mo yan!” sa likod ng finishers shirt ng ibang runners walang encouraging signs ng accomplishment mo during the race. Just saying!

  31. Good pm po ask ko lang yung result ng 21k run ng MILO kasi pang 11gh place ako tapos ang nakalagay sa results name for verification – Robin E. Angeles

  33. what’s this – PE school activity ? more than 15,000 participants for the 5 k. . .
just a suggestion, can we not just separate the run for the 5 km and 3 km runners like separate dates? or separate start and finish lines like sa Quirino Grandstand sila?
have joined before in many 10 km, but joined the 5 km last year so frustrating

  34. muntik nko malumpo dto after the run heheh…pero overall, the experience was good….i guess my 3 week training is not enough for a sub5 performance….i will prepare hard for rupm…sana may abutan pa s race expo s aug17….paging coach rio, pareserve po…=)
