2014 Build Run : The 10th Edition of the PSE BULL RUN

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) will hold the 10th edition of its Bull Run on February 16, 2014, 4:00 AM at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

This year’s Bull Run is tagged the “Build Run” as part of the registration fee will be donated to a rehabilitation fund for the victims of Typhoon. The PSE will match the total amount raised from the sign ups and donate it to the fund as well.

“We want this 10th Bull Run, being a milestone for us, to also be responsive to the pressing needs of our countrymen. We have always used the event to promote investor awareness about the values of stock investing and its role in economic growth but this year, we want to solely focus on helping the rebuilding efforts in the affected communities of Typhoon Yolanda,” said PSE President and CEO Hans B. Sicat.

1. Online Registration via SM Tickets -> Click Here

2. Market Education Department of the Exchange at the PSE Plaza in Makati City. For volume registration of PSE employees, PSE family and friends, Brokers and Listed Companies, send an email to [email protected] and you will receive a registration template. Registrants will have to follow and use this template for signing up.

3. Adevents Manila will accommodate volume registration of Running Clubs. Send an email to [email protected] and you will receive a registration template. Registrants will use this template for signing up.

Registration opens at the Philippine Stock Exchange Plaza, Ayala Triangle, Makati City, starting February 3 until the 10th, from 12 noon – 7:00 PM, Mondays to Fridays. Upon payment, packets will be given out. Limited slots only!!!

Note: Claiming of race packets will start on February 10 until the 14th, at the PSE Plaza, Makati City.

  9. Bakit parang lahat ng runs ngayon nagiging separate race kit claiming na? Hassle naman….. dati naman extra charge yung racekit delivery at hindi pa included sa reg fee so its not an extra cost to the organizers….

    • Yes, no extra cost pero extra work, yun ayaw nila. Runners na lang daw ang mag-effort at ma-hassle, tutal tayo naman daw ang gusto sumali. Ayus!

  14. To those who knows how to run but do not know how to understand English let me provide a translation of the below mentioned sentence:

    “Inclusive of singlet, timing chip, race bib and P100 contribution to the fund.”

    Translation: P100 included in the registration fees NOT excluded hence no additional P100 needed.

    • No need to be a dbag, dude. Nangongorek ka pa mali mali ka naman. By the way, it should be, “to those who KNOW how to run but do not understand English, let me translate the sentence below.”

      “Those” is plural.

      The phrase “do not know how to understand” is a direct translation of the Tagalog “hindi marunong umintindi” which is why it sounds awkward and distinctly off. It’s either “do not know” or “do not understand.”

      You do not say “below mentioned.”Aforementioned, previously mentioned, yes. Below mentioned, no. Because when you say “mentioned,” it means it’s already been talked about in previous sentences, not future sentences.

  18. Geez, sana naman nag a-announce sila ng date ng event at least 2 months in advance para napagpa planuhan mabuti. Dapat di tinatangkilik mga ganitong events para matuto mga organizers na mag plano ng matagal, for the benefit rin naman ng mga runners. Pag pick up pa ng race kit ginawa pang week days.

  20. Sino nakapag-register online? Di ko naman makita yung Bull Run sa SM Tickets. Sana makapagbigay ng option na makapag-register sa mga stores. Noong nakaraang taon ang dali mag-register. wew.

  33. As per SM Tickets wala naman daw silang event nitong
    run..tumawag ako sa customer care nila,pakilinaw naman po..last year kasi sumali ako dito,napakadali lang magregister,at the same time nakuha din yung singlet..at yung post na Venue registration date lang ang nakalagay walng venue kung saan,paki clarify po thanks….

  38. Matanong lang. It ay simple at mababaw lang naman. Regarding sa singlet. Yellow ba talaga yung color sa likod? Red and yellow parang ang “cheap” tignan for an 800 worth singlet (plus the fact na pahirapan mag-register sa event AND another fact na hindi ko alam kang itusra ng finisher shirt na paglalaanan ko ng ganung presyo.)

  39. Pasensya na po Sir Jeff. Sa obserbasyon ko lang, MINADALI ang pag organize ng event na ito. Kasi hindi dumaan sa mga sports outlets eh. Bakit last year, sa Chris Sports Glorietta meron? Saka madali lang last year. Kuha na agad singlet. Bakit ngayon pahirapan?
    Sorry PSE and ADevents, hindi naman kawalan sa inyo ang isang runner na katulad ko. Pass muna ko. Sayang.

  40. Once na separate ang claiming ng kit sa isang run pass ako. Sayang excited pa naman ako for this run but was disappointed. Hindi ‘financially fit’ ang ganitong sistema. Kahit sabihin pang ganito ang sistema sa ibang bansa doesn’t make it right. Goodluck na lang sa Bull Run. Hindi rin siguro malaking kawalan kung hindi ako sasali. Isang tao lang naman ako.

  46. I second the motion that running event registration process should be a one-stop shop as in “Pay Now, Singlet Now”.

    Whenever race organizers doubt registrants volume due to time constraints they resort to “Pay Now, Singlet Later”.

  47. nakapag reg na ako sa smticketnet kailangan lang muna mg register kayo para sa account nyo sa ticketnet, tapos click yung sports tab makikita nyo na dun bull run, hussle nga lang ksi claim ko pa walang delivery well ok lng malapit lng naman ako sa pse makati.

  49. Already registered for the Financial Fitness Run. Since 1 week lang ang pagitan, Greentennial na lang. I really commend Pinoyfitness, Runtarantantan, Without Limits and Leadpack. They are Runner friendly organizers. They know how we, filipino runners want and need. Separate Race Kit Claiming is not applicable here in our country.

  52. Sa mga magreregister. Punta kayo sm cinemas. Puntahan nyo yung nagbebenta ng sm tickets. Sabihin nyo lang tong event. Mas mura kaysa magregister online. Wala kasing convience fee na 50php.

  57. Nakaka bad trip lang ha…i bought ticket last night to SM Megamall Cinema..5K for P500. Register online…OK…Kanina bumalik to register my friends…..and…naging P530 na ang 5K!…BAKIT???…BAKIT NAGBAGO PRESYO NITO? NI WALANG NOTIFICATION…ANO ETO ROCKET!!

  64. bakit hindi nagrerespond mga organizers sa mga queries at bakit walang contact numbers?? para hindi kayo mo bombard ng mga complaints sa registration?? excited pa man din ako for this run tapos ganito lang mapapala ko. ..not worth it. ..tsk’

  67. I second the motion about the registration concerns about the 2014 PSE Bull Run. But if we take into consideration the historical PSE Bull Run reviews we can state that the positives outweighs the negative.

  68. Meds malabo iyon registration. just went to PSE Marketing Dept (2nd Floor) and was instructed to fill up and submit the form without paying-
    Actual Registration is Feb 10-14. Those who paid sa SM Tickets- yari ka- there is a very strong possiblity that the event would not push through.
    I was told to come back anytime Feb 10- 14 for the payment and pick up of the singlets ( hassle at sigurado haba ang pila na naman)

  70. Please help! I registered online via sm ticket had encoutered alot of trouble because of the ticket number being declined… After 5 tries it went in… But I didnt recieve any confirmation via email! Please help… Thanks

    • Im having the same issues.. nakabili na ako ng ticket pero ang lumalabas pag nag rregister ako “INVALID TICKET NUMBER”. Do I have to claim the actual ticket sa SM ticket booths?

      • I texted the organizer as per sm rep on the phone. The organizer said thay you just need to present the ticket one the claiming day. But to be safe, its best to drop by the sm ticket net to regisyer. Just to be safe.

    • Hi there, wala din akong nareceived na e-mail confirmation nung nagregister online. Tumawag ako sa SM ticket net and they confirmed na successful ung registration. Puede ka rin mag txt sa number na to : 0917.3928343 to check.

  71. Punta kana lang kahit saan SM ticket net. Then sabihin mo naging problem. Already registered today sa SM sta. mesa ticket net. Walang hussle.. Sa feb 10 na lang for the racekit.

    • i think you now need to reg the code on line for you to be registered at the PSE run itself… nagbayad din ako sa MEGA and i was advise to reg the code onlibne. un lng ayaw tanggapin

      • So no need mag register sa mismong PSE? As long as meron na akong voucher for ticket.. yung nalng ipre-present ko pag icclaim na yung singlet? Thanks.

      • Sorry for the confusion. You still need to.do the online registration just like in color run but the ticket will be used to claim the kit instead of email confirmation.

      • Nag email nadin ako sa customer care ng SM tickets. Clinarify na nila yung steps. Upon securing the ticket online.. you still need to claim the tickets sa SM Ticketnet para maclaim yung actual ticket. Voucher lang pala yung nakuha ko.

        Naisip ko lang.. sayang lang yung binayaran kong additional Php50 na convenience fee. Tapos mas mahal pa yung 10k pag online. Php 636 + 50 = Total of 686.00 binayaran ko. Eh papupuntahin din pala ako sa SM. Nawala yung sense ng pagiging online. Kaloka.

      • What actual ticket? So the one that I got from sm is just a voucher and I need to get the real one from sm?

  73. ALin po ba ung id Tcket number dun sa tiket? lagi nmn ksi invalid….. un nmn ung sinabi sa akin nung taga SM tikets to enter.. that 7 digit.. grrr… hassle na to ah

  75. i just called AdEvents Manila.. sa monday (Feb3) daw mag open sila ng registration sa PSE Ayala. makukuha na din daw agad yung race kits! good news!

    • Yup… U need to buy the tickets then register it online. Pero sa tingin ko last day na ng ticket selling khpon feb.2.. Nbsa ko sa sm tickets website e..

  84. We got our Race kit at 2nd/F Philippine Stock Exchange Plaza, Ayala Triangle, Makati City with no hassle. Just bring the filled up registration form and the payment. No long line.

  88. just got my singlet and race kit now- puede na actually mag register although it’s supposed to be only for those who register via SM Ticket. Those who registered thru PSE mismo sa Feb. 10. Pero what the heck, I was still able to register and pay today and get the race kit. Register now, baka magkaubusan avoid the lines,
    iyon lang, pangit iyon singlet but what the heck just love to run in the 16 km event, hope the medal and finisher shirt is a nice one

  89. We registered at PSE but the guy at the front desk told us payment will be during claiming of the kit on FEB 10… has anyone paid already at PSE?
