  1. madalas po dun and its a very nice place for running events.

@basierra, posted na yung route sa web page nila. start from Parade ground going up to Fontana then straight to TI area then u-turn near Nayong Filipino back to parade ground.

  2. I wanna join this run tapos diretso sa Pangasinan after the event to exercise my right to suffer este suffrage pala on May 13.

  4. I would love to go back to Clark! Last time I went there was for the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. We had to walk though, from main gate to the venue because of traffic due to the number of visitors for the said event. Hopefully, it will be easier to commute for this event.

  5. Please po, sana my online registration, or paki dagdagan po ang registration sites. And, tama po, sana may shuttle bus. Thanks!

  6. Hi! Nice run! Looking forward to join this. Meanwhile, we can also join this run on April 21, same venue. It’s called Run for Rio 2013 Pampanga. It is also posted here. Here is their facebook page: facebook.com/runforrio2013pampanga :)

  7. pwede bako makisabay kung sino mangagaling sa manila? gusto ko sana tumakbo dito. kaso sa manila pako manggagaling hindi k alam papunta ng clark. hehehe

    CHARLES NEVER STOP RUNNING

  8. @charles
just take any northbound bus with DAU in one of it’s signboards. Dau is the usual 1st stopover at the end of NLEX so majority of northbound buses stop there. Fare is not more than P110 for ordinary and not more than P140 for aircon. Then just look for the jeepney bound for MAIN GATE. At the main gate (in front of SM Clark) you will see jeepneys going in CLARK.

SANA..

  10. Run is on Saturday and there is still no update on when we can pick up the race kits here in Quezon City. No reply din sa message sa facebook. Tsk.

  11. ATTENTION TO RACE DIRECTOR:

    MAAWA KAU SA MGA RUNNERS,
HINDI PORQUE NAKA COLLECT NA KAU
    NG REGISTRATION FEE
    U FORGOT UR RESPONSIBILITY.

HINDI BIRO ANG MGA FOLLOW UP
NG RACE KIT NG 4 NA BESES.
    KAU DAPAT ANG MORALE BOOSTERS
AT HINDI STRESSOR NG MGA RUNNERS.

  12. It was a nice event. I have to admit, I had a few doubts given the few hitches with the distribution of the race kits. The venue was nice. It was my first time to run inside Clark. The warm-up Zumba was awesome. Racetech is the official timer so I expect the results to come out in a few hours / days.

I participated in the 10K distance. I love the route with considerable uphills and downhills. It rained as I passed through the U-turn slot. Needless to say, everyone was drenched in rain. No problem with hydration there.

If there’s any negative comment about the event, it is the multiple registrations you have to make: you have to log your name for the registration / raffle stub, again for the hydration, again for the finisher’s kit. I thought the stubs from the singlet is more than enough but I guess the organizers needed logs for verification.

Anyway, given that the run was organized by the tourism sector, it’s quite understandable why a lot of nationalities participated in the event. I felt really accomplished running besides the Kenyans, Americans, Persians, etc. A lot of raffle prizes given away, but I did not win any. Anyway, I had fun.

Congratulations to the organizers. Good job.

p.s. regarding the distribution of race kits, it helps to distribute the race kits early. If the distribution will be delayed, make sure to announce a specific date.

  13. Coming from Manila we booked at a near by hotel. At the Condura run all the Hotel nearby gave discounts. Dito Wala.Kawawa ang maga 10 K Na-ubusan maga-medals. Ang Lakas ang ulan, o.k. sa maga veterans but for the newbies, its a let down. The race for 21 K should have started at exactly 3:45 p.m.but no, it started at 5:00 p.m. A lot of the running area was really dark. Thanks god had my mini flash light which I used to show the presence of myself and other runners.

Made new friends, shattered my P.R./// Over all Needs improvement
