  1. Yehey! Exited for this trail run. Mabilis maubos to..last yr tagaytay highland, I was hoping dun uli para chilly morning run.

  2. last year was awesome and very challenging…
this year…Salomon would double the trill and excitement…
this is an awesome trail run this year…

  3. Already Registered in 3 events in one week time this coming March 2013, 21k RU1 Series March 17, 2013 in MOA, 24k Salomon Trail Run March 23, 2013, & 16km OFW Run on the next day March 24, 2013, ito na ang Back to Back to Back runs ko March 2013.

  4. already registered at Glorietta 3 (24k). Nice design of technical jersey. its nice to join for those running in road to trail (6k and 12k) because of the beach(Nasugbu). In 24k (mountain run), if the start will begin on the Hamilo Coast going to Barangay Papaya, Nasugbu then to Pico de Loro, majestic view will be your experience.

  5. ask q lng un 1 companion ba need to register pa & need to use trail shoes? 1st timer sa trail running, OK lng ba mag 25K. done lots of 21K & 25K road running. thanks po…

  6. @bot63,

Road running is quite different form trail lalu na if technical yung track like this one. You will definitely feel the difference particularly if you have not tried hiking before. It’s doable but it won’t be a breeze. It would be ideal to try the shorter distance for trail if it’s your first time, also to avoid some injuries. Trail shoes would be appropriate for trail runs.

  7. Based on FAQ, just pay the amount of 450 for the transportation of your companion if he/she will not participate in the run. Sir Boyzilla is right, just try the shorter distance for your first trail run just to feel the difference between trail and road.

sir boyzilla, kaw po ba yung nakasabay ko sa Love a Tree Trail Ultramarathon last sunday?

  8. Sir r@m©€$,

Salomon ang first trail ko this year. Also in preparation for TNF100. :)

  9. @Lola, just sample only hindi pa releasing ng racekit?

right, select the shorter distance if you are a first timer in trail run. There is a cut-off time in every category like in the 24k (5 hours).

For the runners specially those familiar(mountain climber) in Pico De Loro (Batangas side), panalo ito!

  10. i suggest sa mga new to trail running.. start muna kayo sa short distance
ibang iba ang road sa trail kasi talaga. and as for salomon. last year ang
cut-off nila for 24km mountain run is 4hours or 4:30? marami sa’ming mga

  11. @Reina Daza

While there is a planned route, the weather and the conditions on the trail will affect the path to be taken by runners. Runner safety will dictate the final Salomon Xtrail route. Maps will be released a lot closer to the event date.

  12. has anyone here tried to register online? I cant proceed with the online registration, cant even access my personal runners.runner account. :(

  13. sino po ang manggagaling sa mandaluyong area (shaw in particular) whose offering a ride? baka po pd mkisabay… i think 3 kami….

  14. baka may gusto mag avail ng ride.. P500 per head only. pick up sa boni mcdo baba ng mrt. For those who wants to avoid delay of the shuttle, this is the best options.
Pag pa uwi, puede hanggang farmers cubao ang drop off.

    kailangan maka 10 tayo..

Note : hindi po sa akin ang van, i re rent lang din. i just divide the total cost sa mga sasama..Thanks..

  15. Our technical jerseys are still being produced, hence there might be a bit of a delay in race kit distribution. 19. If Salomon could design a shirt that fits me (and I’m not particularly big) I’d love to take part in the race. Whatever the measurements say on their website, I’ve tried on the sample Large shirt they have available in R.O.X. (which surprisingly is the largest size they have available) and it’s nowhere near big enough. The material is also too coarse and heavy, and so very unsuitable for running. Pity because the course looks brilliant.

  20. Hi,

  22. Hi Runners – just received a txt from Runnersrunner at ready for pick up n daw ang mga race kits. yup tama kayo mas OK ung sa shirt ung 2012 mabigat nga ung shirt ngaun at medyo kapos sa length.. pro oks na din..

    • Not all runners can claim. We do not have enough stocks as of now. We are releasing according to availability and sequence of registration which we deemed to be the fairest way of releasing the kits.

Wait for official contact or official advise from RunnersRunner.com before proceeding to claim your kits.

  23. Anyone knows a hotel or place na pwede mgstay for 5 people before the run sa location?

  24. hello po what’s the status of the registration slots per distance category? How about the status of the shuttle?

What public transpo will people take going to the site? I know of small buses going as far as Maragondon from Coastal Mall but I’m not sure if that’s the right bus to take.

    • Hi JP,

As of last night, around 20% slots of 24K left, 25% of 12K, 40% of 6K. 20% of bus slots left.

There is no regular public transport to the site.

  25. Okay thanks po. One last question: No chances of medals for 12k even if it just for the first 100 finishers?

  26. Marerelease na poh ba this weekend yung racekits? Para sana isang puntahan na lang sa ROX after ng run sa BGC on Sunday. Thanks. :)

    • @melmel @daniel29 expect an update tomorrow am. Current status of distribution can be found athttp://www.salomonxtrailpilipinas.com/index.php/2-uncategorised/70-some-race-kits-available

  27. Hi why is it until now we aren’t receiving any message from you, either via text or email, telling us that we can already claim our race kit..technically 7 days left before the event…..that 7 days is just a short time…we are not just spending our time waiting for you guys..we also have other stuff to do….it was mentioned when i registered that the kits will be available on the 2nd week of this month….and to think that i have read some comments here telling that they have already claimed their race kits..so where are ours?? hope you work on this swiftly….thank you

    • @Leonardo Andaya

Updates are being sent regularly as well as published primarily on the website, the Salomon Trail Running FB account, RunnersRunner.com FB page, RunnersRunner twitter account. Please sign up to the mailing list too.

Shirts are being allocated according to when you registered and then according to availability. You can claim once the shirts for your team are complete but we cannot assure you when that will happen. Check out our latest broadcast http://eepurl.com/wQNWH for details.

On our site, you can trace our efforts to do our best in light of the current shirt supply problem.

We do not presume that you don’t have more important things to do. Moreover, we value your support. Most of all, we appreciate your patience.

We apologize the inconvenience and the concern the situation has brought,

  28. hi i checked your site regarding sa claiming ng race kits…ang according to the site “If you registered before March 01 AND the size you specified is M or L you may proceed to R.O.X. to claim your kits.” however I’m the one who’s claiming the race kits for or team, and we come with different sizes…question is is it okay to claim our race kit once all sizes are complete?? will there be no shortage of sizes??? this is something hard you see..

  29. @Sir Raffy

Thank you and I’m sorry for being an asshole when i made that comment…anyway just last one question, will we have the race kit before the run?? yeah before saturday??

  30. how about the others? bakit ganyan ka hassle ung distribution?
    pag bayad napaka bilis nyo
nagregister ako after mar 1, kelan makukuha ung kit w/ shirt?

    • @juan manuel For most runs after a certain date, shirt size is subject to availability. This is because stocks have to be anticipated and hence ordered way before you actually register.

We are very much aware of the ideal distribution of race kits and that the current situation is not ideal.

We are handling the situation in a manner that we feel is most fair for all. Feel free to give suggestions to make the way we are handling this better.

      When did you register exactly?

  32. Go to ROX now and claim your racekits! nag inform n ang salomon regarding claiming of racekits! this is what salomon said

    Finally!

Please go to R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street between 2-9PM to claim your race kits.

All those who ordered before March 01 have sizes reserved for them according to the size indicated on their registration information. For those who registered March 01 onwards, there is a slight chance that the size you can claim is subject to availability.

To claim, bring your claim stub and your ID. If you are claiming for other people, please have an authorization letter with a photocopy of the ID of the person for whom you are claiming.

Remember all registration kits will be released ONLY through or shipped from R.O.X. Bonifacio Global City. RunnersRunner.com will facilitate the distribution from 2-9PM daily.

  33. Ok na sana kahit super late na yung distribution since we got our sizes and madali naman nakuha sa R.O.X. BUT! what happened sa quality? Materials and the way it was assembled… Tsk, tsk… very much susceptible sa chafing ito. The ideal singlet should be smooth and hindi tagpi-tagpi para less friction. Ironically Salomon is know for quality running merchandises like running Jerseys.

Something to look-back po Salomon PH, last year po was way better in terms of running Jersey. Dapat po progressive.

I hope the race would compensate for this. And yung shuttle service din po sana maging maayos.

Still thanks Salomon for communicating with most runner’s concerns.

    See you all trail-lovers!

    • @boyzilla we will reiterate your observations and constructive criticism to Salomon Xtrail Pilipinas managers
@Jimmy Kimmel we will also forward your feedback

  34. based on experience, pag meron aberya sa registration and distribution of kits, it follows na magiging magulo ung run… prove me wrong n lang.. my friend who encourage me to join this race was very disspointed with how things are going on right now, from the singlet design/material, kit delivery/pick up, as well as the size… Im just hoping that the organizer can fix these issues before the race… another, bakit wala man lang ata ako nabasa n reminders about bringing gloves, ropes, etc… or did I just missed it???

Thank you

Question din pala Sir Raffy – aallowed nyo ba yung mga participants to swim sa beach after ng run? Pang refresh lang sana after ng mahabang takbuhan. Sana pwede para masaya… :D
