:) Yung 300PHP ba na registration fee is for all category na yun? If para sa lahat na yun, mura tong patakbo na to. Kaso kasabay ng Wardolf Trail.

  2. @SERVINIO
I registered for this race and was surprised to find out that the race bib is indeed made of tarpaulin. What’s more surprising is the registration form was given to me along with the receipt. The service crew told me that I need to bring that registration form to the race event on the day of the event itself. I think that’s the only time they will enter the names, etc.

Obvious 1st timers in the fun run events so I won’t be expecting that much from this race.

But I gave them a chance because it’s only P300 – all categories. As for the singlet, it is color white with blue and red on the sides and top. Kind of like the French flag, for obvious reasons = Cafe France.

  3. @jeff
just visit any of their participating restaurants.
    #sierra
i don’t think 4am is the gunstart. because like i said, they will process the registration forms at the day of the event first.

  4. Registered! I decided to make my reg at CAFE FRANCE, Jupiter Makati. Race Kit includes singlet, race bib, loot bag n race map. wala namang ibang sinabi, regarding registration..upload ko po ung pics ng nasa race pack. Thanks!

  5. @RUNSunday
I registered at Tempura Shopwise Cubao. They issued me the race kit – singlet, race bib (made of tarpaulin) and eco bag. They did not issue any race map. They did not took my registration form. They told me I should bring my registration form on the race event on the day of the race.

    Organizers, pls clarify!

  6. @chrisy_runner

Ha? Mine was immediately encoded by the manager. She checked everything on my reg form. Then, I asked about the map, till i found it inside the race kit. I suggest that if ever, might as well reg at the nearest CAFE FRANCE Its their run anyway so they know better what to do and what to answer if in case there maybe some questions from us, runners. I registered for three persons and the kit is totally complete,

  7. just registered yesterday. hindi naka-indicate sa bib no. kung 5k or 10k. parang hindi naman color coded.. palagay ko magulo ito pag takbuhan na. dami pa namang turns and loops nung race map nila.. pero sabi nila, dami daw freebies dito dahil dami sponsors! anniversary kasi, hindi for a cause.

  8. @chrisy_runner

We also registered at Holy Cow, names were encoded and our reg form were collected by the staff. Race kit includes , BIB, MAP, Singlet, Lootbag.

    :))

  9. ….i registered at Mall of Asia,Cafe France, wala naman problem,They gave me Registration Form, pagbayad ko,nakuha ko yong Singlet,Bib,route Map,at loot Bag which i am using now. Ok lang kundi charity, mura naman..Meron nga dyan for Charity, ang mahal naman….True din na tarp yong Bib at dont indicate Run Meter, pero ok na din.the thing is tumakbo ka…..Kaya nga Running for Good Health….see you there….

  10. .,till now ndi pa rin sila ngpopost ng singlet design..tpos dun sa karate kid ayaw nman nilang pbuksan ung race kits para sana makita muna ung singlet gusto register agad.,

  11. @jeff
Sad to hear na may ganong isyu ang Karate Kid. Sa iba nalang pa reg ask muna if puedeng i fit at if dadalen pa sa event mismo para ipalista ang name ng runner (parang istorbo pa yung ganon) Haaaay, sa CAFE FRANCE nalang pa reg para hindi magulo. Registered again. This time with my three running mate at Jupiter Branch.

@vie, I understand 10k is 2 rounds of 5k. Marshalls will take care of that i guess. coz I asked the BM of Cafe France. Thanks! Happy Running!

  14. Registered yesterday at Tempura Japanese Grill MOA. yung 300 pwede na, para sa singlet, loot bag. kahit walang timing chip okay na, run for good health na lang. hehehe. naguluhan lang ako kasi yung reg form pala sa mismong day na ibibigay. finilupan ko pa. :)) see you!

  15. I went back to Tempura Cubao to follow up my registration and to ask for a route map. Still the same. Registration form should be brought on the day of the event itself. They did gave me the route map. I think the organizer of this event doesn’t have a consistent registration set-up. Some branches, they will encode the registration right away. Other branches, you have to bring the registration form on the day of the event itself. Oh well, no biggie. No main thing is that I have the singlet, eco-bag, bib and route map. I’m all set for the fun run.

Hopefully this will be a fun event with lots of freebies!
    See you guys!

  16. sulit na to for 300 (10K) knowing na meron naman ciguro sila tubig na bibigay sa runners plus medics and closed roads…may gps watch naman ako… lets go!

  17. Hello,

Thanks PinoyFitness and more power! :D

  19. Kudos to organizer of this event, for 300 pesos registration fee nagawa nilang maganda ang event na ito. Walang problema sa hydration station they give a lot of bottle gatorade and mineral water. Sa activity area they give loot bag for finisher and other freebies. At the end of activities pinamigay na nila yung mga sobrang Gatorade drink sa mga race participants kaya panalong panalo ito dami ng gatorade na nakuha!

  20. Over all the event is good!

    – Lots of Hydration (hindi lang malamig)
    – Location wise
    – Marshall’s are accommodating

Here are some things that I’ve noticed that you might wanna improve in your future events:

    – No definitive GUN start. Even the marshalls doesn’t know it.
    – BIB ( tarpaulin )
    – No timing chip: however the announcer said “we will do it manually, if you want to check your time, just proceed to our time keeper on the finish line” — kaso pagdating namin sa finish line wla nang time keeper.
    – No Bagguage counter. — seen someone running w/ his big backpack :)
    – Limited ang give aways. — Not everyone were able to get it.
    – Sticker coded, that can easily remove. Andami nga naming nakita na nag palit ng sticker from 10k to 5k. (integrity naman po) -peace
    – Ended the program and announces the winners too early. -nagulat nga kami ng mga kasama ko na tumakbo for 10k, pang 6k plang ata namin namg marinig namin ang announcer na “thank you and see you next year” -hahaha

bottom line… “what do you expect w/ a cheap registration fee?”

    >>> Keep it up Cafe France, Happy Anniversary and more power!!!

  21. ….Oo nga weve been there….Imported ang mga Freebies….no problem sa drinks ,sa race route etc…..akala ko nga di organize, nagkamali ako…..What an experienced….Congrats sa Cafe France….Hope meron uli next year at the same price……P 300……..

  22. Kahit di on time yung start, ok parin.. dami kasi freebies. mas maganda sana kung merong tinapay ha ha ha. pero over all KUDOS!

    Happy second anniversary Cafe France!

  23. Well done to Cafe France for the organizing a fun run as part of their 2nd year anniversary activities. Honestly, it was a great start for a first-timer company in fun run events. The route was clear and plenty of hydration. There were tons of marshals and they all did their job well. The event area was big, same area as PUP run, and I assume every fun run held at CCP complex. I noticed the giftpacks and I made sure when I finished the race, that I would go directly to the distribution to get my share :) A lot of celebrities as well. We ran with the likes of Ivan Mayrina, Jun Rufino, Paolo Abrera, Steph Prescott, some D-League PBA players (don’t know their names) and some GMA talents.

However, I do hope they consider the following:
    – provide baggage counter. Essential for outdoor events.
    – Separate awards for females and males. I noticed that they only awarded the top 3 in each category. No females made it to the top 3. A lot of professional runners especially at the 5k. About 30 seconds before gun start, I saw them position themselves in front. I already knew who would place in the top 3 as I’ve encountered most of them in several fun run events.
    – at the finish line, they did things manually. Unfortunately, they only recorded the top 10 finishers in each category. I finished 11th place just a little the 10th placer. They took the 10th placer’s name but when I approached the marshal, he told me “top 10 only, no need for your name!”. hahahaha I felt so unimportant!
    – Giftpacks were “while supplies last” – that’s understandable but hopefully next time, they make sure all participants will not go home empty-handed.
    – The event area was filled with their sponsors but instead of freebies, most are selling stuff. Cafe France and the other companies there are for the Class A market, so most are expensive products.
The event actually felt more like it was organized for their employees rather than for runners. Hence, the bib with just the stickers to indicate which category you are in. Hopefully next year, bibs can be distinguished.

Overall, it was a nice event. As for next year? COUNT ME IN. With just P300 reg fee, completely worth it.

  24. What I like at the event is the 2 filipino runners joining together against the kenyan, ahead by only a meter, won the 10k . Kenyans, tsk.

  25. T’was a very good RUN for Cafe France. We didn’t expect so much but it turned out well. Route is good as well as for their Marshall. Hydration is superb! Freebies are okay and the event host. Thumbs up!

;) Thank you, cafe france! next year ulit!
