Alaska IronKids Philippines, which is open to kids 6 to 14 years old, is the local junior version of the international triathlon series, Ironman. It features three sporting events: swimming, biking and running.
The Alaska Ironkids aims to promote a well-balanced lifestyle for kids of today, who often spend too much time just staying indoors watching the TV, playing videogame console games and surfing the Internet.
For the past three years Ironkids has also served as the perfect venue for families to bond and for parents to demonstrate to their kids that being healthy can also be fun.
