At least di ako nadismaya sa pagantay ng halos kalahating taon para sa takbo na to. New venue which was great at overflowing ung hydration with lots of variety. Haha. Dami pa freebies. And may medal pa un 21k runners. Sayang di ako nag21k. Hehe. What a great way to redeem themselves. Until next time 7-11.

My brother and I joined the 16k event. We arrived at the starting position around 4:55 AM only to find out that the race had already started (gun start is supposed to be at 5:00 AM). Worse is that the officials are stopping us from running and wanted is to join the 10k run (gun start is at 5:30 AM) instead. Added to that, the officials can’t seem to decide whether they should let the late runners go ahead and run. Sorry about my ranting but we really got annoyed by that bit. Everything else is okay in terms of the venue, freebies, singlets, etc.

I had a great run. Nakabawi tlalaga ang organizer sa postponement at problema sa singlet. Lots of hydration, bumabaha ng pocari, powerade and water at mayroong dole na saging for all sa finish line. Lot of booths and they open even before the actual race. Food, energy drink and coffee are all available pagpasok mo sa venue. Good quality finisher shirt and for the first time ang dami kong nauwing drinks and give away. Sulit na sulit ang binayad ko. Madami ring marshall and ambulance are available sa gitna mismo ng race track. Congrats and thank you 7-11.

I super enjoyed this run.. sarap tumakbo sa cavitex smelling the early morning breeze coming from the manila bay! exciting since it is a new route! worth the wait.. i was expecting that this event will fail in reference to the negative publicity i am hearing but i was wrong. super dami ng freebies! i saw a runner holding a carton full of pocari sweat on his way to the parking lot! champion! hehehehe.. dinaig pa ata ang robinsons body run sa dami ng maiuuwi! parang isang 7-11 branch open to public and get whatever item u want unlimited.. overwhelming sa dami ng sponsors. All in all it was a great great run! Till next time 7-11.. tnx sa pagbawi sa negative feedback sa inyo back then.. Congrats to 7-11 and to the organizers..

Great run! Well organized. Never been to any run with this many sponsors. Will definitely join again in the next 7-11 run…

anggg luuuppeettt sa freebiiesss di parin nagbabago ang 711 since I joined their 711 tour700 SCTEX last year! bumawi sa complain on the race kit claiming!

Nice run, halo-halo ang powerade, pocari at gatorade sa tiyan ko ayos…. puuuut.

i find it value for money talaga. Sa murang reg fee maganda ang pagkaka organize ng event. hindi ma traffic considering half lang ng isang lane sa cavitex ang ginamit. Yung freebies overflowing dahil sa marami silang sponsors. hindi pa nga nag start yung event namimigay na yung iba sa kanila and hindi nagtitipid sa pagbigay. Ang resulta, hindi ganun ka haba yung mga pila sa mga booth kasi well distributed ang mga tao. ang mahaba lang na napansin ko yung sa hydration sa may finishers area and yung sa Philippine star. sana next year hindi sila magtaas ng reg fee and the same pa din ang quality ng pag organize.

sana may sunod pa uli…..sa 21k na ako tatakbo…nabitin ako sa 5k.

Lots of hydration at marami din trash cans for plastic cups. Very nice event maraming freebies lalo na nung patapos na. Entertaining program pa ang nasa stage dahil sa games. Sana next time may KM labels din para aware lahat sa race kung nasaang part na sila. See you all daw sa Run 1000! Thumbs up!!

parang fiesta lang dami inumin at pagkain. lumobo tiyan ko nang umalis sa assembly & race area. Hindi na tuloy ako nag-breakfast bago umuwi sa bahay. congrats! huge din ang event venue at sobra dami sponsors lahat yata meron giveaways! hmm, better than unilab’s, i guess!

Congrats7-11! Venue is great. Traffic disturbance is minimized. Lots of space to avoid overcrowding. Lots of freebies. Good shirt and singlet. Hydration is flooding. What more?

Nakabawi talaga sila sa dami freebies….dami namin nauwi kasi kami yung mga naiwan kaiintay ng pictures…sa sobrang dami ng freebies pinamigay na talaga nila sa tao at hinayaang kami na kumuha specially s coke at sprite..para kaming nag grocery..naka 2 box kami ng mga inumin…at ang mister donut parang di nauubos kahit 20x ka bumalik meron pa din….nice run talaga…next tym uli pero wait pa tayo ng Run 1000 kasi ang Run 900 ay para sa Bike…at ang Run 1000 ang running uli….

Congratulations to 7-Eleven for a fun-filled Run! It was very organized, race route was new, with adequate hydration stations, paramedics were strategically placed, marshals were very helpful & cheerful and lots of freebies too! It was all worth the wait. We are all looking forward to more 7-Eleven Runs in the future. Kudos to the organizers!

Well organized, overflowing hydration and very attentive medics. A class of its own.. There’s one thing though, lack of toilets (at least a few) along the race path. But by and large, all runners were tired with smiles on their faces!! Tnx

To 7-11 & race organizer job well done. hindi mo kami ginutom sa pagtakbo. The race route is very nice. ang lamig ng hangin sa kalye. nasa nxt year mag-organize ulit kayo ng ganito kaganda. Freebies, medal & finisher shirt the best the talaga. every category iba iba yung drinks na iinumin mo. pocari, gatorade & powerade san ka pa. cross ng finishline an daming sport drink. pocari, powerade, gatorade magsasawak. my donut pa at ice cream. uwi kaming mga runner ng may malaking smile at worry yung binayad namin. again congrats sa 7-11 :)

Overall 100% happy ako sa race day itself…..sablay lang talaga yung postponement at yung magulong magulong registration process which lasted nearly 6 months….I will support all future runs going along Coastal and Cavitex….so please organizers….no more painstakingly difficult registrations….

It would have been perfect if I were to run the 21k but hey…it is what it is….I first registered for 21k then refunded then had to buy a 10k only to find out nag onsite kayo for 21k ….although it felt like a kick in the nuts, nakabawi naman kayo so please no more slip ups next year…no more

overall…maganda yung run.

ang layo nga lang ng starting line sa event area. kaya warmed up na pagpunta pa lang ng starting line :) okay din na si Kikay Runner ang nag lead ng warm up sa 21k runners. at least runner talaga yung nag lead ng warm up. ok yung stage. ang taas!!! titingala ka talaga.

yung route ok din kahit may konting lubak sa may macapagal at pagbaba ng flyover sa may papasok ng cavitex. kawawa mga barefoot runners. pero sarap naman tumakbo sa cavitex!!!! hassle lang yung mga nagsisiga ng dahon/damo at basura! sakit sa ilong nung usok!

sa may finish line naman…sana na-spread out yung finishers tent. siksikan tuloy sa may finish line pero ok na din. ok din sa diskarte yung ibang runners na kumuha ng multiple copies ng mga back issues ng iba’t ibang magazines :)

mukhang sobra nga sa 21k yung route. sa garmin ko, over ng 300 meters yung distance. ok na din. at least na-improve ko yung time ko.

overall 8 out of 10. Good job 7-eleven! sa susunod ulit!

This event exceeded expectations. The 21K route though was actually 21.8, but then that’s fine, I guess. There were more than adequate hydration, marshals and post-race activities.

Running the Cavitex was an experience. Because of its proximity to the airport, ang daming 747 hovering above, kaka-excite!!

Value for money talaga. I’m glad we decided to sign up again after withdrawing our registration last year.

Congratulations to all the finishers, and to everyone at 7-11!! They all did a really great job!

PS –
I just noticed that lately, race start times are getting painfully early. 21K races used to start at 5:30am, which would give runners a good view of their surroundings.

had to attend this event with my girlfriend to support their company participation. Though I didn’t run, I saw the success and happiness for both the organizer and runners. Yes, overflowing hydration, freebies plus beautiful models from San Marino corned tuna and Axe. haha next 7/11 run, I will surely join na. Good Job guys!

@comment 69, my soleus recorded 21.69. I agree it was longer, so you may have to hive off 2-5mins off the time you got depending on your overall time.

Yung pagpostponed ng 7-11 sa run is di naman nila kasalanan.. alam ng mga araw araw nadaan sa coatal road yun hehehe. naging mabagal lang talaga pag aayos sa coastal – cavitex road at nasabayan pa ng pag ulan kaya lalong nadelayed ang renovation ng kalsada sa coastal. Di ko naman pinag tatanggol ang 7-11.. galit lang ako sa usad ng pagrenovate ng daan sa coastal kasi 1 taon na kaming laging natatraffic dun! heheheheh Congrats to all who ran this race!

Route distance is measured in the inner lane (road side) so chances are if we are using the middle or outer lane during our run, our record won’t match.

Hinde po kasi maiwasan ang kalat, sa lahat ng run nagyayari po yan kahit may trash can pang ilagay makalat parin. But after naman nililinis naman ng organizers ng lahat ng kalat.

woow i really enjoy runing in 7eleven run the race was very organised ,we luck nothing on our way we took all kind of drinks on the way for me ts was like international race, congratulation to the organizes and all the sponsors i ran 16km i was second place and am happy hope u wil have the same race next year am miss patrober kemboi

It was worth the wait.
This is the only run where i saw competing brands vying for the runner’s attention and pleading with us to drink their stuff, not once, not twice… i forgot how many aid stations i passed and they were all well stocked and all the drinks were cold. I began to worry as I passed the halfway mark of the 21k if my tummy would act up from so many hydration variants i tried. It actually slowed me down haha. I felt so spoiled from beginning to end.
Thank You 7-11, I hope this will be a yearly event
