  1. Nice event… Nice one Lead Pack…

  2. super saya and ’twas may 2nd 16km run. No problem at all and ang saya kasi may libreng spaghetti noodles.. ahihihi.

  3. @ LeadPAck

we dont have trash cans to throw our cups. kaya we have no choice bu to throw it sa side streets.

ngayon some non-runners are complaining about OUR Mess… may naglinis po ba nung route? kasi kung ganito lng lagi, runners din minsan ang masisisi.

    just informing not complaining

  4. anyways….

GOOD JOB!!! GANDA ng run. kahit dun sa ongoing road repair hindi nyo kasalanan yun. bago lng yun eh… excellent!!! 5 stars. two thumbs up. High Five.

  5. tnx regent for the great run! …

  7. Good job organizers. Good job sa mga marshals at photographers. Maganda ang set-up ng race village. Ang ipinalit sa banana for 16k runners ay Regent Pineapple Pie, gatorade along the way din :)

    For improvement:

  8. Grabe kung makapag react yung mga non-runners… Basta may masabi lang… Di ata nila alam na tumatakbo tayo for a cause…

  11. Thanks Regent! This is my first 16km run.Medyo nagcramps ako sa last kms, but I thank the Marshalls who were cheering for us.Salamat.Sana nga may trash can na malaki next time.I have to bring my cup all the way to the next hydration station dahil wala akong makitang trash can.:s

    Overall,it was a great run indeed.Thank you!

  13. Thank you regent for a great and exciting fun run, masayang masaya po ako dahil 1st time ko mag run ng 16k…. kung masaya ang 10K mas masaya ang 16K…. nakakatawa bandits pala tawag doon sa mga tumatakbo na hindi naman kasali o hindi naka register, dami akong nakita at nakasabay may nakasuot pa ng rexona sana nag enjoy rin sila para masaya tayong lahat…. see yeah next year regent food corp.

  15. Good Job Regent. isa to sa mga sulit na nasalihan ko so far. Thumbs up sa mga cheerers and greeters. Ayos kayo.

Good job and sana dumami pa mga ganitong klaseng events na value for money. It’s only my 3rd 10k run and my first finishers medal since nag start ako sumali sa mga runs. next year ulit sigurado sasali ako!

  16. @tennisplayer – congrats on your 3rd run and first finisher medal… im sure inspired ka na tumakbo pa… though di naman podium winner pero sobrang masaya talaga ang feeling ng nasasabitan ng finisher medal para sa effort!!!

  17. Nagkita naman, kaso apat lang kami…

Nice meeting you Roy:P, Sportyspice and sirhc…

    Till next run…

    Takbo, takbo lang… =)

  18. Thank you Regent for a wonderful fun run. It was good. Nakaka tuwa yung mga cheerers, ang dami nila every turns may “good morning runners” “go go go” hehehehhe… till next year…

Kudos to everybody!

  20. Had a great run, came all the way from Lucena City pa, just to run my first 10K. Salamat Regent and Leadpack for a very organized event.

  21. great race and first 5k for me – ran with my better half which was her very first running rac
    – low point for me is for BEARWIN the celebrity guy to mention that the 5k distance is for the joggers or for people who came from a night of drinking/gimmick – race it and let`s see if its an easy distance and props to the people who did the 3k/5k distances as i saw in their faces the determination to keep moving forward knowing they were pushing their bodies. I would suggest that regent take a look at the people they invite to host their running events regardless if he has done marathons or longer races. Regardless of the distance these hosts should not belittle any distance and treat it as a joke.

  22. btw, i have been racing the longer distances and long triathlons since the early 90s so i know what i am talking about. the ladies, gents who did the 3/5k distances deserve the respect regardless of capability…

  23. I think there is a discrepancy dun sa 16K result. mas matagal pa ung time ko kesa sa previous and longer distance na tinakbo ko a.. race organizer, please investigate and rectify..

  24. Kudos to Regend foods for a noble cause of collaborating and supporting the RED CROSS.. May your noble advocacy continues.

We , ( my family ) had a great run last sunday.. The race is well organized, well hydrated and the race route is challenging.

The loot bags for my category ( 16kms) is heavily packed with the noodles for carbo loading after the race.

I would like to suggest though, to put trash bins on the hydration area and more portalet .

Overall its a great run! Congrats!

  25. @kuya arnie: next time nalang yung breakfast. Hehehe. Will upload our machong-machong pics soon! :))

@HUNTER: sayang di tayo nagkita dun. Madame ka atang bisita last sunday eh.

  26. @sportyspice,andon ka pala sa regent, inaabangan kita sa closing ceremony ng olympics dba kyo ang closing act, spice girls. nagtxt ba ako? pagod kc after crossing kalayaan flyover deretcho ako sa jollibee nag take out ako ng longganiza w/rice, yum burger at large coke, habang ang mga official participant ay nag cross sa finish line ako namn kumakain sa parking area sa likod ng tent village, imbitahin sana kita kaso baka hatian mo pa ako sa take out ko..hehe, congrats ha na break mo pala pr mo.

  28. @sportyspice, macho?? kaya nga after 13km nahihilo na ako sa gutom, hnd ko na tinapos at baka mag collapse pa ako, hindi pa nmn ako pwedeng humingi ng medical attention sa medics kc naki takbo lang ako, pero may dala akong donation sa red cross as advice by @runner0701 na maging mabait na bandits kami.

  30. Thank you so much po REGENT sa exciting, great at memorable run na eto. It’s only my 2nd run (after 36th Milo run) at talagang nag-enjoy po kami ng anak ko with her bf tulad ng: dami ng mga cheerers along the route which catapulted our adrenaline to push through, the attractive finisher’s medal, umaapaw na mga giveaways na may souvenir pang very useful biodegradable bag, masasarap na mga freebies lalo na yung koffie with matching strawberry cookies, yummy hot spaghetti snack with matching fiber & fruit drink at aquabest mineral H20… Sulit po talaga ang pagod after our 10K run. Kudos din po sa LEADPACK for a well organized at great event. BTW, napansin ko rin po na malinis ang venue dahil marami pong “service crew personnel” na talagang they see to it na malinis ang lugar… we left the place @ pass 9:37am.

Sulit po talaga ang pag join po namin dito for we met and gained new friends/runners.

Once again, thank you and God bless po sa lahat!

  31. @sirhc: nice meeting u too chris! :)

@olan: good job sa atin na nagdala ng donations for redcross. clap clap. at oo macho… lahat ng kasama ko nung sunday. one of the boys lang ako.kaya ayun, mukang macho na din.hehehe

@HUNTER: HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY! more runs to come! breakfast ulit soon? yes? hehehe

  32. I love the spirit of this event! Ang positive ng feeling..the marshals are friendly and cheerful :) I will never forget my first 10k run. THANKS REGENTS!!! Kudos to the Organizers!

  33. @dennis – same here. bearwin runtarantantan should think first before he talk. this is not comedy, and i think he is not funny.

  34. @dennis….i agree with you brod…gusto ko ngang agawin yung microphone ke bearwin to tell him upfront na kaya kami napunta sa 3k dahil naubusan kami ng 5k slots, kaso malayo ako sa kanya ….anyway, on second thought naisip ko rin mabuti ring di ko ginawa at least nag enjoy ako sa run despite some harsh comments from this has-been comedienne….

  36. Meron bang FT based on chip time? Yung official results kasi is based on gun time. I started about 8 minutes after gun start. Also, I think the 10K route was a few hundred meters short. Either that or I was going really fast, faster than I’ve ever been, particularly in the last 4K. Which is unlikely considering that I was still relatively fresh when I crossed the finish line. By the way, thanks Regent and the organizers for the great run.

  37. @swiftrunn/sir edong – everyone enjoyed themselves for sure but we can do without comments like that, lalo na from a known celebrity who is now a runner promoting several local brands of fitness gear. tsk..tsk..may internet na and there are lots of better things to say about running kesa ganun na lang, knowing daming kids with their parents, everyday moms/dads who are trying to see how hard they can push their bodies.

  38. @hunter – ibang klase siya magencourage, di naman ako nagsasalita on my behalf kasi off for me kasi ang daming families na sumali so better piliin ang sasabihin or think before you click ikanga
    – di naman ako sumali para magpaapekto sa ganyan pero even ang better half ko napansin yun, e first time nya sumali ng actual running race so excited siya kaya sinamahan ko para di mahirapan masyado pero it speaks about the organizers/brand they are trying to sell
    – no need for name calling, hopefully future races he hosts he does his research and motivate in a positive way kesa anu anu na lang sabihin…

  40. Congrats to all Finishers. Well done event for Regent Foods, Leadpack and all the staff and volunteers. Sold out fun run!

  41. Guys! From the whole Regent Foods management and Leadpack group, we just want to THANK YOU for the support and nice words of encouragement. After all the hard work that we’ve done, ang sarap ng pakiramdam na na appreciate nyo lahat yun. Thank YOU so much! Ano, isa pa?! =)

  43. @RUNtarantantan/Bearwin – you being there is appreciated BUT make sure to choose your words, you are a celebrity who turned his life around through running and of course improving everything, saying things like that lowers people`s moral even for others who say it`s words of “encouragement” remember the people who make up the bulk of the race or bread and butter of the races are the people who do the shorter races, the beginners who are starting out or wanting to improve the quality of their lives through running. First hand experience as i always did the longer distances since the 90s and i saw in the people who did the 5k/3k distance the same focus, hard breathing etc as those who did the 10k and above distances, only difference was the number was twice the participants. think about it and research, hosting events is more about saying “a pang jogging lang yan or after gimmick pwede salihan” even if you meant well, it sounded differently to most

  44. This is my best run experience yet! This is how it’s done!

Congrats, Regent, Leadpack, and all the men and women behind the success that is Regent Fun Run 2012!

See you all in December! Ehek! ;D

  45. @Kris my comment on the photo posted (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152004682815099&set=p.10152004682815099&type=1&theater).

  46. i think gone are the days wherein the management of the venue will allow trash to be left on the race course after the actual race/program has ended, Regeant may not have had garbage bins at each of the aid stations but they did pick up the trash left behind by the participants after the race was over. isip isip, BGC/the fort are high end venues or any other venues, and they will not allow this to happen wherein the event organizers will not be liable for the garbage left. shame on the runners who threw their cups somewhere else and not beside the aid stations…
