  1. simula na ba kampanya? :)

Stereotyped, no way to trapo!

I dont know where to post this so i post it here. Sorry.

  12. Hey guys! Thanks for the comments. It is not a traditional run, we make run with a purpose. In every 20 runners we will donate 1 LIFESTRAW(portable water filtration device) to the host LGU and they will be the one to identify the beneficiaries. You can search in google the benefits of LIFESTRAW. Moreover, the Advocacy run has registration fee but the participants will get a collectible singlet and race bib and snacks and more important we will give minimum of 70,000.00 prizes to deserving winners. With respect to the Host (QC Government)its their privilege to include the pics for identification purposes of the project. No law cannot prevent them or us as organizers for doing so. Dont take it personal to all the politicians. They make us good leader if we are a good followers! TAKBO PILIPINAS.!!!

  13. @Roger Frias. The government of Quezon City could donate “Lifestraw” without the need for gathering runners who are also potential voters in the 2013 Elections. Runners are very knowledgeable nowadays when it comes to running events. Alam na nila kung ano ang commercialized runs, advocacy runs and most of all “politically-motivated run” (PMR).

  15. Hi po. Thanks for the info about the LIFESTRAW donation. I’m just curious about the registration sites. (Diliman, Teacher’s village, Sikatuna and QC hall)

    @Rotech

  16. @peej that is good to run for a cause and sa sinabi mo parang maganda nga ung advocacy na gagawin.. the question is sigurado ka ba na sa LIFESTRAW nga mapupunta ung reg at hindi sa bulsa nang mga politiko.. baka yan pa nga gagamitin nila sa kampanya nila sa 2013 e.. oha oha!

  18. Thanks for the comments again. You can check for our previous Phi. Water Runs 1st in Vigan 2nd in Naga City 3rd in marikina City. You can check our donations of Lifestraw to the said LGU’s, We are talking here politics. As you can see it is a RUN! We should govern by the programs of the government. You have bad experience in RUNNING pls dont include us because we are part of the solutions of our country. Makibahagi kayo sa bansa natin. We are open for the comment but we need your suggestions and constructive critisism. Okey! You are all invited after the runs for the Formal Donations of Lifestraw to the QC LGU. Mabuhay! Tara na! TAKBO PILIPINAS!!!!

  19. @Roger Frias
sir, di din kasi masisisi ung mga runners/participants to comment on the politics since in the poster palang mukha na ng mga politicians ang makikita.. I believe kasi na mali pong ipagsama ang fund raising (money matters) with politics as front line. we filipinos do have bad reputation on that matters.in my opinion (sa pananaw ko lang po ha), i think it would be better na alisin nalang ung mga picture ng mga pulitiko sa poster to avoid disputes at of course makaakit pa nang mas maraming participants..

Yun po maisa-suggest ko ha.. hope that you it as a constructive criticism on your part.. thank you..

  21. @Roger Frias…..You’re right when you say running promotes healthy lifestyle and you’re are doing this for a cause…..Ang point lang ng ibang runners nahahaluan ng politika….

Roger Frias Said “With respect to the Host (QC Government)its their privilege to include the pics for identification purposes of the project. No law cannot prevent them or us as organizers for doing so.”

  22. cloudshocked thanks. there is no memo to compel the employees of QC government to participate in the event. and it is not true that it can be a tool for fundraising in the next election. i am inviting you personally to witness the turnover ceremony of lifestraw after the run maybe in 1-2 weeks after the run. thnx.

  23. doc noy thanks for the comments. indeed your right and you have a point also. maybe its a way of telling to the public ‘hey look at me ‘im hosting a running event’. in other way around we can get ur idea that alone ‘qc govt’ will do anyway. One thing im sure to this ‘they amenable to post their pics in the posters’. thnx doc noy i get ur point.

  25. mga katakbuhan: i know roger frias personally (we were classmates back in college, at least for a year) and i can vouch for his integrity as a person. as for the rest of the people in the poster, i don’t know them personally so i guess it’s up to each and everyone of us to decide whether they’re genuinely supporting the cause or just politicking.

    happy running! :)
