fellow runners, according to World Vision they will have a medal or finisher’s shirt for 21K finishers. But also reminded us that this is a run with a cause (incidentally they were our visitors in the office for our Adopt-A-child initiative). And I salute Pep Squad for accepting a fee that is indeed a “community service” acceptance fee for this event – You are one of the few organizers who are not making millions of pesos out of a running event.

When do we get the kits? I showed a printout of my online registration to Reebok Eastwood, and the staff looked at it like they’ve never heard of the event (despite the poster on the counter).

My sister’s sponsoring a child through World Vision by giving 600 pesos a month and gets letters directly from the child regularly. So this org is as legit as it gets. I can’t afford to give monthly but I hope I can help out even if its just a one-time payment to register for the run.

Thanks for the invitation but almost all of the crew especially the Medical Dept will be very busy with the mission helping our kababayans in Samar so joining such event is out of the question. Can’t confirm or deny but we’ll be in Subic Bay during the US Independence Day holiday so if there is a running event at SBMA, who knows some of the crew might want to join in.

The husbanding agent who takes care of our logistical reqmts said, she talked to a Mr. Joey of WV @ 519-7010. I didn’t bring my RP flag with me (21K QCIM3 RP flag runner) so can I run with a US flag instead? Just want to make sure I don’t create any International incident.
