  1. which is which? Mt Ugo or this? still pondering pa kung saan talaga… ganda naman ito naka excite.

@vintoto; as per experience of last year’s 21K merrell adventure run at timberland heights, this trail running is quite different from road races for the simple reason that one person can pass at a certain trail at a time. mahirap mag-overtake kaya medyo babagal ka kunti. tsaka mrami din ang uphill at downhill kaya medyo interesting.

  2. @Runnox thanks highly appreciate your comment. kasi i’m getting an idea from last year’s Nathan Ridge Run parang kaya naman. But a friend tells na almost twice raw ng ordinary road run yong hirap based on his experience in Nuvali.

  3. lol. even though i wont join this, i already bought my salomon shoes at travel club trinoma. same as the one in the poster – yung yellow nga lang kihuna ko. il use it in mt ugo instead! lovin salomon shoes! hehe

  4. ah-huh … I would love to join this event, kaso wala pa akong trail shoes. hmmmm mas ok to kaysa RU1 na nag-super-escalate na ang fees. Pls advise if there are public vehicles going to the venue (coming from some hotels in tagaytay).

  5. just read on the reg form na may 20% discount sa mga salomon products pag nag register sa event.. tempting!! I want to buy their Speedcross pa naman..

  6. Maybe you forgot something.I hope you could also provide WHISTLE on this part of the trail run for emergency purposes.(BOY SCOUT /GIRL SCOUT) Otherwise , we have to bring our own..”You never know what’s in trail run”,)Hence if you have marshal monitoring this events. We will be feeling so so good.

  7. pakipost n lang po the exact location papunta sa starling line nyo kung eron ba masasakyan public vehicle papunta dyan.. exact address pls thanks,,,,if galing ng mcdo sa tagaytay alfonso..

  8. Same kaya to ng assembly area nung Nathan Run Ridge? Di na ba aabot sa ‘Peak’ tulad nung sa Nathan kasi Midlands daw e kaya baka iba na nga to. Sana pwede rin magsama ng mga friends kahit di sila magrun.

  9. on the website they cited the 24k for “experienced trail runners”, how risky is it if i joined the 24k category knowing it’s my 1st trail run?

  10. What are the characteristic of trail? It will be muddy, sandy, sloping, concrete or what? It is important for the runner to know exactly the types of trail before going to the race, to anticipate and to practice well.

  11. @dabo-d, I ran my first trail in Nuvali last year without knowing anything about the terrain, the whole 57K of it. I expected it to be ten folds harder than road-running, and yeah, the trail didnt disappoint me! Prepare energy bars and gels, a hydration pack and most of all have first aid kit! :)

  12. may form na sa rox, wala nga lng sample ng singlet etc. nung ngregister ako, balik na lang daw ulit sa march 19 for pick up of racekits.

  13. Definitely Dress Safety GEAR from head to toe. Just add(visor cap, gloves, short-long socks-depende sayong kutis purselana, SHORT – LONG PANTS FOR OUTDOOR,Whistle for emergency, Dried food if possible – mango, peanuts, chocolates, Fluids w/ electrolytes to STAY PROPERLY HYDRATED.Run Proactively LOOK 15-20 feet ahead STOP – for hills, rock and trail hazard and LISTEN to your INSTINCT…STAY SAFE…IWASAN MAG PA PICTURE SA DELIKADONG LUGAR…MALAPIT SA BANGIN..HAVE A SALOMON WAY OF LIFE.

  14. Make your next run green! Bring a water bottle. Check out the Nathan Quickdraw option when you reg. Salomon organizers will provide hydration (Gatorade and water) refilling stations.

  15. @gener: salamat sa info tsong! first time ko mag-trail at wala ako trail shoes :( minimalist kasi ako kaya mejo sablay na agad…sana walang river crossing :)

extra careful na lang cguro pag medyo rocky or slippery ang trail…

  16. if im going to bring may own vehicle were i could park it? i understand that the race will start in midlands,so is there a service going there if i park it near the entrance of highlands?and also,my wife n kids want to come with me,are they allowed even their not going to participate?

  17. thanks din bunso.
:)Aside from that please bring extra outdoor slipper/shoes if you have a little Doubt in you old gear, Don’t use it. Follow your inner power (instinct).cheers!

  18. anu pu ung post race medal?
( lahat ng category my medal? )

medjo hndi ko maintndhan. paki explain naman! SALAMAT! :))))))

  19. Hi Team,

Nasa bacolod po ako pano kaya ako makregister at makabayad?would appreciate if you can send the details to my email. Thank you.

  20. Sir, what about the singlet size? Is it true that Large is the smallest size available? Nagkaubusan na rin ba ng Medium size?

Kung medium ang para sakin, masyado na bang maluwag ang Large o pwede na rin kahit papano?

The singlet size will definitely make or break my decision to join this event.

  21. As of afternoon of March 13, there are no more 24k slots. We confirm that L is the smallest size available.

@Bill mahirap sabihin kung maluwag ang large or pwede na because it is a matter of preference. One of our staff prefers more loose apparel, while another wants to “show off” ;)

  22. Thanks Sir Bhoy for the quick reply. I guess I’m fine with the Large size, since I have nothing to “show off”. LOL

But, what about the women registrants? My girl friend wants to register, and so the singlet size availability is a concern for her. Are there plans to have additional smaller sizes; just to accommodate the ladies?

  23. Baka naman pede pa kayo mg add ng slots for 24k? Im pretty sure marami pa gusto mg register on that category aside from me. :) tnx..

  24. waaaaaah, we were in ROX yesterday, 3pm…closed n all categories, nkavli n q ng trail shoes & trail gears q…too bad,,,,khpon lng na-approve leave ng kasama q….pls nmn po pki-open ang slot ng 6k 0 12k….2 kme mgregister….

  25. Please update us if yu guys are going to have additional slots for 24km. If you did that runners like us won’t forget all the efforts that your going to make. Runners will definitely look forward for the next year. Thanks and have a blessed sunday.

  26. went to ROX today March 18, the only time i can register. so frustrating…. closed registration na! :-(
    will u extend the registration for 6k? please! please… please… please…
i really wanted to join and experience my 1st trail run.
