  1. I didnt get my pr… BUT THE RUN WAS AWESOME! Powerade and viva mineral water every 1.5Km, Dole bananas and sponge on d 15thK marker, very nice ayala alabang village where I will buy my house if I win the lotto! The road is wide with lots of trees! Thank you Asian Hosp and Run Rio for a successful event! Til next year :-)

  2. New PR for my 21k! :)i didn’t notice the sponge :( but overall it was great! hydration, place, security, and etc a well organized run! see you next year! t.y RUNRIO and Asian Hospital! :)

  3. Congratulations Asian Hospital and run rio. It was my first 21k run at hindi ako nabigo, the organizers made sure that runners were hydrated. Bumaha ng powerade at mineral water. Ganda pa ng route, at least di sa bgc or moa. Until the next run…

  4. To Asian Hospital & runrio congratulations. its my first time na maikot ko yung ayala alabang ang ganda ng mga scene. nice house, trees, wide road at fresh air. nahirapan din ako kasi pataas pababa yung trail nya. pero sulit yung pagod ko. & new PR for me. sana next year meron ulit. :)

Congrats Runrio and Asian Hospital.

  6. Never expected the hilly route & got me walking on the uphills. Though I wasn’t able to beat my PR, it still one helluve run! Good job runrio & Asian hospital.

  7. bandit runner ako dito, prep for my 1st 16k sa yakult. i was running sa race lane pero didnt enter the village. sa hydration station na nadaanan ko, salamat sa inyo. the route was awesome, more races sa alabang sana. bka i’ll reg na next yr pero babaan na nila yung reg fees kasi accdg to the ceo ng asian hosp, yung race venue was free of use kasi partnered sponsor ang filinvest. i hope yung ibang land owners will follow the good example of filininvest

  8. i saw pinoy going to alabang country club this morning… he is still using his white porshe… thought he already sold it??? sold it to Grace Lee??? hahaha, winkie winkie….

  9. This is a very organized race, adequate water stations everywhere, and lots of race marshals in all corners.

The very first part of the 21K race, we passed through some really pitch dark areas, and there was one portion where a huge spotlight directly shined on the runners, making visibility zero. It is commendable that there are generator spotlights pointed on some potholes in the early part of the race.

The route inside the Ayala Alabang village was awesome, shaded by huge trees everywhere. It also felt like we were running inside a car show, with all the Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati etc. every other corner.

Another well organized race by RunRio!

Next year ulet.
    Salamat sa organizers.

  11. awesome… two thumbs up!!! request lng po sana my CR pagkatapos nang 10K (for 21K above)mahirap palang tumakbo na nawewewee na…. buti mabait c manong guard at nakawewe me sa guard post nang isang subd. dun… hehehehehe

  12. Haha didn’t beat my PR too, but great course.

I already ran in Filinvest last year. But not in Runrio event nor inside Ayala Alabang.

Sarap talaga ng ruta kasi mapuno at daming up and downs. init nga lang kasi summer na

More races in alabang please. Hehe Thanks

  13. Congratz to all finishers… ang daming kong 1st time dito…

    a. venue
    b. uphills route

  15. this is my first run for 2012 and i would say its really great and awesome. i was right in choosing Asian Hospital RUNew over the other run I was also registered. all the testimonies above are undeniably true. congrats to all the organizers and can’t wait for your next sponsored run.

  17. It was my first 21k/half-marathon. The race route was tough! The rolling hills were very challenging. The first part of the race route through the filinvest bus parking area was very dark and the lighting was limited. There were pot-holes that can only be seen once you were just a few steps away. That said, the rest of the route was very well paved. There were a lot of marshals and the route on the public roads was clearly marked with traffic cones. There were ample water/hydration stations and medical assistance was readily available. All-in-all it was a well-organized runrio race.

  18. @Ms Mars – hahahaa … oo naman … me picture picture pa … nung fresh pa sya before the race… aahahahahahaha …. hope magaling ka na now :)

  19. @pyxcel
nice…just saw your pics with Kapuso CG sa album ni Hector. sooo cool! and correct, lahat kau fresh pa kc pre-gunstart pose un, hehe.
im feeling lots better now, thanks for the concern ^_^

  20. very well-organized run. nice peaceful but challenging route (exclusive subdivision!). ample hydration stations. nice activity area and finishers tent. runs like this reminds us why we love running after all. congrats to the organizers and all finishers!

now… are there any photos uploaded? :P

  22. @pyxcel @spartan

hahaha oo nga wala man lang photographer sa event ): pero my mga vidoes ng TV 5 ewan ko lang kng san inupload un..

    @meong

ok na un kesa wala hahaha!

  23. first 10k run ko, hilly ung course pero I enjoyed naman. well organized race, kudos to the organizers!

Donna Cruz- Larrazabal ran in 10K too and rank 4th in women’s category. Galing!

  24. ah im a bit disappointed dn pala with the result. Nung hinanap ko name ko, d ko makita and when I checked my bib number nka unknown finisher ako. I emailed runrio nung tuesday norning sabi nila update daw nila pero until now hindi pa rin. Disappointed talaga ako kasi importante for me ung makita man lg name ko sa list of participants kahit d man ako ganun kabilis mg-run…. sana lg wag na umabot hanggang next week and maayos na nila…

  26. It was my first run ever. haha! I’m glad to read the comments of others that it was a well organized race. It made me inspired to run again and make it a habit( if work’s schedule permits). It was really fun even though I had body pain after the race. haha! There was a moment in the race that it feels like…”nanamnamin ko to.. ang ganda ng paligid, magliliwanag palang, ang sarap ng hangin, may ibong nag-tu-tweet tweet, seeing the masungit na doktor na tumatakbo din.. haha! and everyone is running which is healthy, seeing the masungit na doktor na tumatakbo.. haha! It was really fun indeed. Kudos to the organizers and sponsors you made my first run experience a blast. mwah! – JEN-AHMC, OR Nurse
