I liked the 10k race route far better than the previous marathons I joined in BGC. The race route covered a larger area thus limiting the route to only 1 U-Turn. The route was also well selected. Very WELL done & ORGANIZED considering that this is the race organizer’s first marathon project!

awesome first run for 2012! it was really well organized and it was great running a new 10k route in BGC. i, for one, am glad that it did not include the flyover (the one that goes to makati). i especially commend the organizers on the hydration for this run. there was a lot of hydration available (both cold water and 100 plus) and the hydration stations were placed in strategic locations (at least for the 10k). the marshalls were also very friendly and chipper considering the time of the day. great job!

i’m glad to have participated in this run! i look forward to any other runs shadowfax may be organizing in the future. i hope they keep up with the quality of the runs that they have set with this run today.

it’s another run that my family enjoyed it. and looking those people on the wheelchair to support this event it’s kinda unique and a good experience to be with them. thanks to Chris Sports for sponsoring my team to this event. next time po ulit.

  24. Jairus said on

Isa pa pla, nakakalungkot lang tlaga pag 21K at medyo nasa hulihan, wala na yung sa STUB section for raffle, hehhehe umalis na ata.:)
ska sana next time mas maaga yung start ng 21K mabuti nakisama ang panahon kundi ang hapdi na sa balat ng 7AM an tumatakbo pa.

My first race event for the year and it turned out quite so remarkably well than I expected. Very very organized! Many staff were manning the hydration stations with more than adequate Summit water, 100 Plus energy drink and plenty bananas too. There were so many friendly and encouraging marshals along the route. So surprised to find one lane of Buendia to be closed for exclusive use by runners and the Makati Police and traffic enforcers were very supportive. Thank you so much! It’s my first time to run 21K in Manila so I find it a great and memorable experience. I also love the 21K finisher’s shirt. Great design and my favorite shirt since yesterday! Job well done and more power to you!!! I truly enjoyed the run…

Thanks to all the people behind this event… this was my 1st 21k and you guys made it such a memorable one for me. Ang ayos ng race proper. congrats to all those who finished their own respective distances as well. :)

Super galing ng organizer that you won’t feel that this is their first time to organized such a huge run and of course for a cause!! I’ve been through lots of races but this one really rocks inspite of (shadowfax) being a newbie as a organizer. Keep it up and more races (for a cause) to come, hoping that this sets the standard of all the organizer out there in putting up such run.. Shadow fax is a PRO-RUNNER!!!(you know what i mean ;-))

It was my first 21K ran in the Philippines. Being an American here for work.. I thoroughly enjoyed the run. The organization was very good.. water stops/drink and bananas were all good. When I see the Philippine team on TV at the Olympics this summer, I will remember this day fondly and know that I helped support your team. Good luck in London… and thanks to all the volunteers and my friends here that made this one memorable day for me.. Job well done to all. Best of all with a few obstacles… I met my goal of under 2 hours.. (by 2 minutes… !!! )
