Hi everyone! Instead of running just 5k, you run 5+2, for 10k you run 10+4k. Last Man Running this year is also for 7 hours pero mas exciting na siya dahil may required minimum pacing per hour! Online registration begins Feb 1 and on site registration begins Feb24. We will be posting more details soon :)

last year required pace was 6min/km for the first 2 hours. There were pacers, but the pacers were faster than the minimum required pace.

no friendly pace once na non-stop running ang gagawin kasi kahit gaano ka-easy na ang pace sa last few hours eh talagang mahirap :) (IMO)

Hmm BGC na pala ito. . nawala na yung hill challenge. . kaya na ng kenyan ma-dominate ito. . last year na disqualified yung kenyan kasi naglakad :)

I think you should definitely add more slots for every category. This is bound to be popular because of the unique extra km challenge and the freebies from Bayer Pharma doesn’t suck either hehe.

Even if there’s a reg fee this year, I’m sure the finisher’s kit/loot will be with Rogin-E/Bayer products. Maybe there will be more slots accomodated pa naman. Start of online registration is on Feb1 and on site registration on Feb24 :)

hello!how do you determine the ultimate winner; the first to finish? example: i am able to maintain the required pace for the entire duration of the race but somebody finished first so i would be 2nd? because the race is all about covering maintain 10km pace/ hour which means 70km for the 7 hour race. if i am able to cover the 70km in exactly 7 hrs but somebody is able to do it in 6 hrs, will this make me a non-winner? thanks!

nakakatakot ung pace. gusto ko sumali kaso hindi ko yan kaya. i dont see myself running 4.5mins/km for 12 kms and that is after covering 20kms

there’s no fun in here. this is serious stuff. gotta train really hard just to be able to keep up with the nominated pace. else say goodbye to P1,2k early

the race organizers decided that if the participants can’t keep up with the nominated pace they can still keep running but they just won’t be qualified for the top prize. they’ll still get the finisher’s kit (with a medal! :) ) . I hope you still give it a try!

Hallsy12 totoo bang pinalitan yung rules. walang nakalagay sa website. sabi participants must keep up with the required pace. at anong top prize? kala ko ba basta makaya mo yung required pace eh qualified ka sa china? kasi malamang sa ibang elite runners sisiw lang tong pace na to pero hindi ibig sabihin na hindi kaya ng average runners. thanks

@andrep Yes. The pacers will take out the race bib of the runners who are not able to maintain the pace to differentiate them from those who were able to so they can still run :)

you’ll have to maintain the nominated pace for the first 6 hours. At the 6th hour, as mentioned by Jeny, there will be a separation run which will be a race to the finish to determine the winner.

Here’s the response I got from MLB

Pls. take note that the PACE changes every hour.
1. If he was able to maintain the pace of the pack for seven (7) hours
2. He must have collected six (6) colored coded strings at every hour of running at different pace.
3. He must have covered approx. 63km.
4. On or about the 7hours of running (approx. 9am), a BELL will signal for him to run at his own pace for another seven (7km) one lap.
5. If he can run first to the finish line (first to finish) he will be the LMR champion, the next fellow is second, third, fourth, fifth.. only those with six colored coded strings will be considered LMR finishers.

there will definitely be rogin-e in the loot bag so it’s similar to last year’s mechanics except that you’ll get your rogin-e after the race. for the 10+4K and 5+2K categories, you’ll get the promo pack (P215). for the LMR category, you’ll get a bottle (P602).

also, i read somebody asking about the meal? the breakfast banchetto set up will be c/o mercato centrale so you can expect the runners meal to be from mercato centrale’s merchants.

rogin E last man running 2 will be giving 5+2 group discount for all categories.

Hi Bruno30 if you visit the website (roginelmr.com), may important Reminders (available for download at nakapost sa News Page) na nakaindicate na pag hindi nasunod ang pace sa LMR, tatanggalin ang isang race bib (2 race bibs kasi ang ibibigay sa LMR participants)to signify na hindi na siya eligible to win the prize pero pwedeng pwede parin tumakbo until mafinish yung race.
