MTBO Bible Run – March 3, 2012

The May They Be One Bible Run is part of a nation wide campaign of the same name that aims to bring 5 million Bibles to 5 million poor Filipino families in 7 years. It was launched in response to a nationwide survey that showed 60% of Filipinos do not have a copy nor access to the Bible.

Inspired by the prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:21,“May they be one, Father, so that the world will believe that you sent Me,” the May They Be One (MTBO) Campaign is a joint project of the Philippine Bible Society (PBS), Episcopal Commission for the Biblical Apostolate, National Council of Churches in the Philippines, Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches, Chinese Congress on World Evangelization Fellowship, and other like-minded groups who believe that genuine national transformation can only be achieved through the guidance and transforming power of God’s Word.

  1. I told myself that I will only run this 2012 if it has a finishers’ medal….But for this one, I will surely run with my family for it has a good cause and it would help people to know more about, GOD. :-)

  2. This is good! one cry! one battle!

How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! Psalm 133:1

I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.
    1 Corinthians 1:10

    So gear up guys!!!

  3. Thank you for the comments and encouragement. May the Lord continue to bless your lives as you rally for His kingdom.

  4. I will definitely try to run here. Who knows? Maybe there will be less crime when poor families rediscover the Bibles. I hope more sects like the LDS and evangelicals like Family Radio will support your cause as well.

  5. @JP: and there will be lesser crimes when rich but greedy people will rediscover their faith and act morally for the common good.

  6. T-shirt pala yung gagamitin sa pag takbo kala sando ehh.. ok yan pwedeng pang labas o pang malls.. try naming magpa regs bukas sa cubao… god bless the run..
