  1. I climbed Ugo last year,during the freedom climb…panalo ‘to…mag-eenjoy ka sa nature…lamig dito..goodluck sa mga sasali…=)

  2. I hope that organizers will take efforts to accomodate Metro Manila runners who do not have their own vehicle since they are willing to join, more so, to shoulder their own fare…

  3. i have already indicated where public transportation to and from the starting line is available in detail. you may want to check it again in the event resume. we are giving all participants the liberty to choose their preferred mode of transport at their own expense. all types of vehicles can be accommodated along the route as it is well-paved. thank you and good luck.

  4. @jonel mendoza: sir, will you be able to assist us in making reservations for the lodging? and if we decide to camp out, will there be a baggage counter where we could leave our stuff during the run?

  5. wew. Sir Jonel, pag magkaroon ng money. magreg ako this month. gandang training ito for TNF.

ganda dito. naka akyat kana sa Mt. Ugo nakatakbo kapa ng full marathon!

like like! sana dagdagan ng ng 2 hrs ang cut off time para sa aming mga snail. hehehe.

  6. hi QP,

kindly send a message to the number below for your reservation.

“There are only 2 bed and breakfast type lodgings(Tessie’s Lodging and Boulevard Inn-09104443123) in Kayapa which offer only basic necessities. Rates start at 200php per bed and cooked meals of your choice may be arranged with the landlord. You may want to reserve early as there are only limited bed spaces. Room-sharing is the norm. Both are walking distances to the starting line.

Or you may want to camp out for free at the Parish Church area where you can also park your vehicles some 400 meters away from the start.”

yes, we will be providing for a baggage counter at the start/finish line. good luck!

  7. I like the most ….. is NO WHINING…
most comment are instructed to do so..
    other organizer or “PALA”.

the admin to the right thing..
comment has to be a “CONSTRUCTIVE” manner

way to go!!! sali ako dito very challenging…

  8. i just called boulevard inn and rate is now 300.00 per person. rooms are at the second floor and cr at the ground floor. baguio to kayapa is 4 hours away via bus according to the lady at the lodge. :)

  9. curious lang ako kung walang prizes saan naman po kaya mapupunta ang pera na malilikom sa registration. sino po pati beneficiaries n’yo? just asking lang po.

  10. Goodluck sa mga sasali dito..ganda sa mt ugo..pero mahirap din yung ibang trail..at madulas..mas mahirap nga lang yung mag ma marathon sa summit..2 hours ascend yung last part to the summit,,pero kung tatakbuhin mo,syempre mas maikli..

  11. To Happy Camper:

Unang-una, hindi ito pangkaraniwang patakbo na nakasanayan na ng marami. Limitado ang participants, dahil hindi kakayanin ng trails ang maraming mananakbo. Hindi rin ito suportado ng malalaking corporate sponsors.
Race fees will go to paying the locals from the municipalities of Kayapa, Nueva Viscaya and Tinongdan, Itogon who will be our marshals and race personnel. Another portion goes to trail fees charged by the local government for the use of the race route. We have several other beneficiaries whom we’d rather not enumerate here. They know, and God knows, who they are and what they receive from us. Hope this satisfies your curiosity.

  12. Gusto ko talagang sumali dito..kaso walang kasama..haaaiizzssttt..

sana next time makajoin ako kahait mag isa lang :)

i have 2 race kits for mt ugo trail run on april 1. any takers?

    how much?anong distance?tnx..09086786508..

  14. yes. i’l give it for free kasi hindi ako makakasali. sayang lang din naman. conflict kasi sa sked ko. i have two (2) paid 21k slots. i’l coordinate with the organizer muna kung pano ko itransfer yung slot ko. hindi kasi pwede ang refund.

  15. //@nik_rielo: aawtz…i’d like to take one..but i’m planning to do a full here…God bless your heart, man, for your selflessness in giving the racekits for free…

  16. pls email me [email protected] if you want to get my 2 21k slots. i am giving it for free with no obligations whatsoever. i will be at the banahaw run in lucban on sat just in case you are there. otherwise, you can get it from my staff anytime starting monday. i hate to post my cp number, my apologies.
