Let’s all support this momentous event as hundreds of bikers help to bring a total of 10,000 solar bottle bulbs from Camp Aguinaldo to the historical Pinaglabanan Shrine, where they will be distributed amongst volunteers and installed in 30 communities on November 30, 2011!

Event Schedule:

Details: Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City to Pinaglabanan Shrine, San Juan. View Bike Route
6 AM – Registration opens. Participants to pick up bottle bulb, t-shirt and messenger bag from designated area.
7 AM – Program starts
7:45AM – Deployment of bikers
9 AM – Estimated arrival at San Juan Symbolic turnover of lights to community representatives

  1. sana nga pati runners pwede sumali.yung bike ko kasi di pwede makipagsabayan sa mga bike ng mga cyclists. sana pwede rin mga runners na tatakbo kahit may bitbit pang solar bulb bottle.maiksi lang naman ang distansiya niyan.

  2. Guys, sounds good. The problem is that the T Shirts will be priority for bikers as a priority as they will be the first ones arriving on the installation site in San Juan. Let me check but if you want to run with the bottle lights, your more that welcome to experience the event and install the lights :) there are so many solar bulbs to bring.

  3. I’m very much interested in joining this bike for a cause.

    I do have one question. Are we going to just help bring the solar bottle lights to pinaglabanan or are we going to be involved also in installing the lights also?

    If the latter is true, is there a place for us to secure our bikes?

  4. are the free shirts for the first 1000 bikers who will register or first 1000 bikers who will be there at Camp Aguinaldo on the day itself?

    @reydor, you don’t need a high-end bicycle to join bike events. we only have the regular ones. just make sure it’s in good condition and you’re off to go! =)
