  2. Actually it was a nice run but I’m still waiting for the results. They said there will be medals for first 100 finishers for men and women for 3K, 5K and 10K. I guess for the 3K they mixed them all up and did not give away the right amount of medals for men and women.

    When the results come in I guess there will be a lot of people who will complain about this. Let’s wait and see.

  7. Sana mailabas na agad ang race results online para makita namin kung talagang wala kami sa first 100 male and female. hehe. sayang din ang medal, kakataka lang. ambilis talaga maubos nun. hmmm

  13. @JM: I think they messed up the distribution of medals because there was only one lane for 3K and 5K. There was even 2 women who were top runners in the 3K who ended up with no medals.

    Let’s wait for the results indeed.

  21. i guess mdmi p ring singlets naiwan post-event. sana ipamigay n lng nila sa mga govt employees and students who availed their respective discounts…

    like we’ll claim it n lng to where we registered.

    oo nga, was a bit disappointed sa hydration kasi nung sa latter part medyo nagkaubusan yata, lamesa na lang yung makikita sa mga hydration stations, especially yung Pocari.

    Pero all in all ok pa rin.. :D

  25. To be fair to organizer with regards hydration stations. It was really good nga kc halos d magkakalayo ang mga ito water man o pocari. dun lang talaga sa baggage counter rambled ang mga bags disorganize so much. sana nxt tym each category (3, 5, 10 & 16K)will have their own counter. So far well organize naman the 150th Rizal run.this is my 2nd tym 10k run It really helps in our Health. Congrats to all runners. See you next run.:) :.) Salamat din kay PEPE

  27. JM’s right, ilabas agad ang result. According sa nag-assist sa amin sa NHCP yung nagbayad lang ng P500 ang bibigyan ng medal, bakit yung mga discounted na P150 nakakuha ng medal sa 3k category? Yun ang sinabi ng taga-NHCP kaya nagbayad me ng P500 kahit govt employee ako, not only because may singlet, habol ko rin yung medal. Pano ba ang ginawang segregation sa nagbayad ng P500 at P150 para malaman kung sino lang ang dapat bigyan ng medal na nakapasok sa top 100 na male and female?

  30. it was a nice fun run, but not that much with regards to claiming of stuffs, not that organize but not that bad. congratz kay sir rovic and the rest who spearheaded this run. good work!

Isang bgay pa po npansin ko e ung distribution of medal n di mn lng muna pinalagpas s finishing line pra ung time ng bwat runner e di po n delay…..pwede nmn sna mamigay ng medal after mklgpas s line.pero bkit gnun?tsaka po bkit di po s time ni based ung medal? kc po diba di nmnn lhat sbay2 dumaan s starting line..unlike s ibang organizer time ang basehan ng pgrank s bwat runner…

  34. i believed that some of my friends and i were part of the top 100 finishers in the 3k run but we were not able to get a medal… i am waiting for the result but until now ndi ko pa makita….. nung nagtanong ako sa desk ng organizer this woman answered me in a loud voice(i think a member of those who distributed the medals)

  35. actually i really wanted the medal because its a limited edition for the 150th celebration of Rizal and we ended up with nothing….
    sana mailabas na yung result so we will now our time and if we were included awhile ago…..

  36. madami talagang di nakakuha ng medal for 3K, mabuti na lang I was entertained by one of the committees, I explained that he can check the manual result, and then he apologized and instead gave me a 16K finisher medal, sinama ko na din yung isang 3K na girl who I knew na should received a medal too, kasi sya yung sinusundan ko sa girls, nauna sya sa kin, at nabigyan din sya ng medal. (and as of checking the result, tama lang na pinaglaban ko, kc hindi lang ako pumasok sa top 100 finisher for women, but kasali din ako sa top 100 finisher over all for 3k men and women) thank you. Pero I sympathize to those who was able to be on the 1st 100 pero got no Sesquicentennial PISO medal =(

  46. bakit ganon ang daming hindi naka kuha ng medal sabi nyo top 100 runners eh yung pamangkin ng wife ko pang 51 runners sa 3k ayun lang hindi suya nabigyan ng medal ipapakita pa naman nya sa province yung medal nya di nabigyan ng medal.. nxt time huwag kayong mag post na top 100 runners ay may medal.. okay.. at maraming tumakbo na hindi naka rehistro, me naka sabay ako na mga around 15 to 16 years old na sabi nya hindi sila naka rehistro dahil kulang wala silang pera naka sabay ko hanggang finish line, aba mamaya me medal na siya at ang daming loot bag dahil namumulot sila ng mga stub na nalaglag. sa akin lang po kaya siguro naubusan ng mga medal ay dahil sa mga hindi naka register na mga tao, nxt time ipa check nyo sa nag bibigay ng medal kung register ba sila, dapat alam na nila yun dahil wala silang bib number na nasa singlet nila… sayang kasali sa top 100 ang pamangkin ng wife ko dahil naubos na daw. makukuha ba namin ang medal kung sakali.. ayan lang po ang commnet ko sana hindi na maulit yan sa mga marathon maghigpit kayo sa pagbibigay ng medals, loot bags, o kahit anung libre para sa mga runners na naka register…

  47. seen the result of my sis sa runningmate.ph pero bat ako wala pang result?! ahead ako sa ate ko.. hindi pwede yun siya may time ako wala… LOLS…

Ok naman ang run, lalo na sa 16k route,hydration,firetrucks sarap mag shower,medyo magulo lang after finishline dahil d alam kung para saan yung tab 1 and 2,dapat nilagay sa tab kung para san, kanya kanya pila kelangan pa mag tanong. pero ok naman ang run kahit papano,saerap tumakbo along roxas blvd.

    agree ako sayo tama dapat “no race bib no medal” mga organizer umayos kayo ha! kung ayaw nyo masira kayo sa amin, dapat alagaan nyo mga registered runners dahil sila rin next time ang mag papalaki ng mga events nyo sa susunod na mga events.

    can you pls look on this concern. I checked my race results from https://www.results.runningmate.ph just now and I was ranked 98 for my 3k category. i don’t know if this is already final and its as an overall result but to add insult to the injury, my name is not listed. there was even a guy from runnersrunner who kept on bugging me for atleast 2 days just to have my bib number sent to him for “verification” of my information.

    Paid the complete reg fee, incomplete race result, ranked 98 and no “piso medal”. Buti na lang i was able to get the “magic bayong”, the finisher’s certificate and pin.

Hnd pre, mas maganda ang medal ng 16k, kung alam ko lang na mas maganda ang medal ng 16k at mas malaki, sana nag 16k nalang ako, yung kasi ang hirap sa event dapat sinasabi nila kung anu rin ang pinag ka iba ng medal ng 16k at sa iba,hehehe kung alam ko lang na ganun nung una nag regiter nalang ako sa 16k. Pero ok lang may medal parin ako hehehehe.

  56. mas nakakapagod sa baggage counter!!!kesa sa pagtakbo…dapat d na kasali ang mga kenyan..this is for rizal dba? tapos puro banyaga ang halos karamihan ng nanalo.ung mga MC pa eh puro englisero.may nagkamali pa nga ata ng tamang paggamit ng “is” at “are” na word.ung mga medal kulang…business lang ata talaga to.d naman makabayan.pero worth it na rin kasi pinagpawisan narin.sana nga may natulungan ako sa pagsali ko…

  57. hindi po parehas ng medals. for 10k it was smaller sa 16k medals.. kaso tlgang ngkamali ng distribution of medals.. i saw a few men (late 40’s-50’s) with 5k bibs na meron ng pang 10k medals meron din pag 16k.. tsk

  58. mejo na badtrip lang ako sa BAGGAGE… iniwan ko ang bag ko sa kanila ng maayos.. tapos inabot ako ng 15mins to get my bag…nagsariling hanap na rin ako kasi as in gulo gulo… dapat hindi kasi yung pinag sama sama.. dapat may long table dun.. tpos hiwa hiwalay ng katulad sa rexona run noon..

  59. My guess was right that they really messed up in the distribution of the medals for 3K. I saw the results and I am in top 100 overall but it doesn’t show my standing in Men’s category. So this means I deserve to have a medal but did not get one.

    To Mr. Rovic “Greentennial” Canono of Animo Events Management, where can I claim the medal that I deserve? Byy the way I paid in full.

  61. There’s a mistake as to my race result. Where/With whom can address this concern so that this can be corrected? I reached the finish line at 1:27 for the 10K. How come that the time that appears is 2:14:12? Please have this corrected!!!!Andami niyong palpak!

  62. seen the result @ runningmate.ph mejo disappointed kasi mali ang time n nakarecord(2:20:27) compared s timer @ finish line(1:05) parang nanghula lang s results. pero masaya padin salamat s medal and ham…

  63. maybe it is time to give every event a medal as a souvenir of achievement, if we have to add a little for registration so be it, at least we know we get medal after reaching the finish line. Saka baka naman pwedeng improve ang medal design puro na lang round. Hello!!! medal designer please grow up…

  64. I appreciate the efforts of the organizers to give the medals to runners who deserve it…I will just wait for your call back when to pick it up. Thanks Animo!

  65. are the results correct? my record time is 1 hour 20 minutes more than my actual time. can you do something about this? i even got a medal as top 100 finisher but my time doesn’t reflect. my time actually is 1:01:?? for 10k run but the result showed that i timed 2:22:03. tama b naman yun

  67. hu-hu-hu, wala na naman akong record,sana inorasan kona lang ang sarili ko, pero promise nice naman ang loot bags, kakaiba…di baleng wala akong record, basta may loot bag ako…oks na rin

  68. I agree @kinetic and @BC mafia athlete. 16K finisher din ako pero walang 16K finisher dun sa medal. I think na mixup na ung mga medals. Happy na rin ako kasi me medal. Hindi ko rin napansin ung kaguluhan sa baggage area kasi wala akong dalang baggage. This is one of the reasons why I chose not to carry anything during the run. Instead I have somebody bring it for me.

  69. maganda ba ung loot bag? ano laman ng loot bags nyo? kasi ung sa akin mga sample tablets lang and one ora-care. For me, hindi satisfying ung loot bag.
    hydration was good, di ka talaga mauuhaw kasi sunud-sunod and water at pocari stations plus shower. nagkulang lang siguro for the last half of the runners kasi may mga complains dito about hydration.
    Another nice one was the venue kasi we got the chance to visit Luneta… nag-enjoy ang daughter ko pati sa kanyang kalesa ride :-)

    Pasok yung female friend ko sa 160 bracket. Since mas marami ang male na nauna nakatapos, baka naman pasok sya sa first 100 female? Pwede bang i-private message ko kayo? Salamat.

  71. Tama naman ang record nila runningmate.ph. I ranked 87 of the 16km runner. I got the right medal (big one) and I got a deli giveaway. Overall (hydration, lootbags, giveaways), it was great. 10x better than 2nd Avenue Earth run na walang baso sa ibang hydration station.

  72. suggest ko lng, nextime u shld categorize d age bracket of finishers of tens. example, from 50 to 60 ages shld also have their places. nangyari, ung mga winners sila sila rin mga nanalo at gawain nahanapbuhay na lang. i deserve a medal for my effort and dreamed of have one at least.

  75. ok ang fun run yesterday , wala ako concern. i also organize events in office like christmas parties, corporate events etc. For your information, mahirap mag-organize ng event lalo na ng isang malaking run. so, i just look at the bright side of things. normal na may konting glitches, pagpasensyahan yan. walang o event run na perfect.

    kung kaya mo mag-organize ng perfect run, IKAW NA!

  78. tinanong namin yung mga tao na andun sa tent beside the start/finish arc (left side facing the arc) we asked them kung saan makkta results sabi nila nsa timing chip daw yung website PERO kung wala daw ibibigay sa kanila na record wala daw magagawa… i dunno kung sino yung sinasabi nilang “SILA” hindi na kami nag usisa kasi aligaga sila lahat so kawawa naman kung makikidagdag pa kami hinayaan na lang namin muna.. tpos eto na pala ang mangyayari.. hmmmm….

    1 thing i notice sa website ng runningmate.ph marami na silang event na pinuntahan.. lahat ba ng sumali dun e walang race results?!

    buti na lang tumingin ako sa timer kung hindi..hindi ko malalaman ang time ko.. haaaaaysssss

  79. tip ko sa mga nagkakaproblema sa baggage counter, dapat yung bag na checheck-in nyo is unique ang color and medyo malaki para madali makita… this always work for me. hahaha.

  80. twice na ako sumali na greentennial ang organizer and ito mga observations ko (mga nagyari sa akin) :

    a. mas madami sosyal kaysa jologs :)
    b. magulo at masikip ang finish
    c. ‘di gaano kagandahan ang medal (pero ok na)
    d. ‘di maganda quality ng singlet/shirt (di ko alam kung bakit palaging dark green and black ang kulay)
    e. kung accurate time mo, walang pangalan…kung may pangalan, ‘di accurate ang time.
    f. mas maganda hydration ng rizal run kaysa greentennial half marathon
    g. may distance markers sa rizal run. sa greentennial half mary – wala
    h. na-miss ko yung boy bawang :)
    i. over-all…mas ok naman rizal than greentennial half mary

  82. Can’t access my race results and those of my friends. Are all results uploaded na? Bakit “No bib was found. Try another.” lahat? I was handed a medal for the 10K but my results are also not online. Is there another more credible source for the results? Thanks

    I also agree with you,walang perfect na event. kaya ako sariling timer,sariling extra water sa beltbag,meron medical id sa beltbag just in case.better na handa kaysa umasa.:)

    my nike GPS could not map the course because of low signal… total distance read was 20.8KM for the 16km category… though i am not sure if i need to calibrate this..

    not a bad race… just needs a few tweaks like clearing the finish line since those who already completed the race should pass through a different way instead of the finish line area..

    all for Rizal…

  88. I ran for the 16K events and it was a nice run.

    Some common problems are usual or common on every race such as;
    1)presence of race bandits
    2)early closures of water stations along the race course (for 16K participants)
    3)unorganized distribution of freebies and other claims.

    But i noticed the presence of several firetrucks providing showers for the runners.

    Overall it was good. =)

  89. nuong natapos ko 5k race…humalo sa finish line mga 3k runner.tpoz wala ako medal masaki sure ako na pasok ako sa first 100!..when i ask na guy with a laptap na nag reregister ng mga nakatapos?..i ask him to kindly check if pumasok ako?eto kako number ko?aba wala ako duon???>..at ang katuwiran e!…kasi ser pag sabay sabay dumating e yung nakita lang namin narerecord namin???….ano yuon???>>>…..naloko na nga si rizal ng kastila e pati ba namn tyo ngyun e lolokohin pa din?…tsk tsk

  94. good that my husband had advised me not to register him early for this run … And when we saw the AXN run, we have decided to register him and my youngest brother for this AXN event. Seeing all the comments here, it was a good decision we have made (unfortunately i was out-of-town for a training hence I missed the fun.
    My family will be thinking twice to register for future running events who sponsored this rizal run. thanks to all who have given their objective comments.

  96. Hi folks, I was the runner in the Jose Rizal outfit in the 5k category. Quite a number of people asked to have their picture taken with me before and after the run (there was actually a lady runner na sibayan ako and had her pic taken by her running partner). I’d appreciate if you could post the links where I can see the pics you took. Maraming Salamat po!

    Thanks also to the runners na kinukumusta ako during the run and made sure I didn’t pass out from overheating :)

  97. sana lang walang bang lahi for this particular run for rizal..i mean this is for the filipino na nakakailala kay rizal.. my opinon.. cos im sure the kenyan doesnt know anything about rizal..

  99. okay naman sana, kaya lang magulo ang distribution ng medals i saw some 3k pumila sa 5k lang taka ako.. pag dating namin na wla na kami natanggap na medal which is nakita ko kunti pa lang babae nakarating sa finish line for 5k…tapos pumila mga 3k sa lane namin. i am expecting to receive pinulikat na nga ako but i was sure to myself na alam ko makaktanggap ako, pero biglang sabi ubos na wla na..ehh makikita ko iilan lang girls nakakuha for 5k the rest all 3k pumila sa amin..

  100. disapointed talaga ako, to think it was my first run for marathon.. and i run everday going to my office work, preparing myself to this event.. and sure of that na meron ako makuha..nagkagulo na sa pag distribute..kaka asar lang talaga..
