The event details about this event has been sought after the the last few weeks and finally their official press release had shed some light about the details of the upcoming Nike We Run Manila 10K set on October 15, 2011 at Bonifacio Global City. Check out details here.

Note: Please bring your ID and confirmation slip to collect your race pack. Those who wants their friends or proxy to collect their Race Kit, make sure you give them this Letter of Authorization.

Run Buddy Run Nike+ Challenge:

In the spirit of WE RUN, Nike will launch the Run Buddy Run Nike+ Challenge to celebrate the motivational aspect of running with a buddy! Running has long been referred to as a personal endeavour, but despite the individual nature of the sport, running is an intensely communal pursuit too. The Run Buddy Run Nike+ Challenge takes on the idea of run clubs, training groups and community to broaden the appeal of physical running into the virtual world. Driven through Nike Running Philippines Facebook page and the Nike+ platform, the challenge will see pairs of run buddies race it out to win a VIP Race Day Experience at the We Run Manila 10K, and other Nike prizes.

Challenge mechanics below:
1. Visit Nike Running Philippines Facebook page at www.facebook.com/NikeRunningPH and check out the WE RUN MANILA 10K tab.
2. Click on RUN BUDDY RUN and sign up with your run buddy.
3. Once you’ve joined the challenge with your run buddy, lace up your running shoes and hit the road!
4. Sync your KMs to Nike+ and follow the daily leader board updates on the Nike Running Philippines Facebook page.

  2. i visited the nike store in BHS, accdg to the attendants, Oct 5 and the claiming of the singlets will be oct 11-13. wala pa sila sample pero very interesting yung race tee at yung race pack plus din yung finisher’s prize which is a nike usb shoe! lupit!

  6. This could be a good racing event, although a night run at BGC could possibly pose a lot of traffic problem. Sali pa rin ako pero ipon muna, mabigat na sa bulsa ang mga entry fee ngayon.

  15. @Derrick try to check yung we run buenos aires na running tee online . ganun din daw and kulay at yung bib # bka printed daw sa lower left ng tee. wala pa sila sample sa store.

  16. higuys. open n ba registration sa nike bgc? nagpunta kc ako s tobys shangrila kahapon the staff are not aware na sept 5 ang start ng registration.

    i tried to register online din kaso ang shirt size ng buddy ko is L and medium s akin e isa lang listed n size online so i discontinue n lang. tia.

  17. hi, we visited tobysarena shangrila yesterday but they told us that the registration is not yet open since they haven’t received any confirmation from the event organizer… hay, npagod lng kmi mgpunta s shangrila, harharhar… tobysarena or nike shangrila? kc nkpost po dto Shangri-la Plaza lng no specific sport shop to visit… pls confirm, thanks much :D

  32. @Ger, pwede sana ako brod laki sana matitipid. Kaya lang paano ko magpaparegister ang layo ko sa BHS, Cp Aguinaldo ako. Pagwalang makabuddy, mag-online na lang reg ako. Cubao area po ako, baka meron pang intresado na makabuddy ko.

    Paging Mr. Pinoyfitness, pakihanap naman ng kabuddy. hehe

    sabi po sa nike bhs store, no need magka pace. akala ko din nung una, literal na mgka-tie yung laces ng shoes ang ka buddy mo. ang hindi ko lang naitanong is kung dapat same age grp kayo ng ka buddy mo. NO time limits at parang ok(sana) yung pre at post race items.

    Kung malayo ka kasi sa QC especially Cubao, baka impractical naman na abalahin pa kita.

  48. hello po! fyi, meron din pong registration sa Nike store greenhills, just across Shopesville, sa may area ng Max’s.. registered yesterday, kakaopen lang nila ng booth :)

  53. plan to register tom sa nike park fort around 1-2PM, baka may gustong sumabay mag paregister expensive talaga pag individual.

    sa the fort nga lang gusto kong mag paregister para makapag register din sa ibang fun run sa ROX

  55. “WE” are now officially registered to run in the Nike We Run Manila 10K. Got there early at Nike Greenhills, the guys out there are friendly and they even let me fit their running shirt displayed on the rack just to visualize what would be the best fit for me and to my special pair :) good luck to all “WE” runners! :-)

    may nakakaalam po bang nang deadline nang registration date po? sa sept 22 pa po kasi ako makakapagpareg gawa po nang wala pang budget……
    @rotech sir sa philcoa po ako malapit lang po ako sa cubao pero kung may mahanap na po kayo okey lang po kita kita na lang po sa venue hehehe

  58. @rotech – ure welcome po! and yes agree ako vinsanity, friendly nga mga staff sa nike greenhills at ung tao sa booth mismo because they let us see all the details ksma ng finisher’s kit and rules that apply. :)

  72. Hi! @vinsanity and @supeghurl Tanong ko lang sa mga nakapagparegister by pairs, both bang makakareceive ng race freebies/finisher’s kit or we are counted as one? It’s a lot cheaper if you register by pair so I’d go for that instead.

  80. Suggestion: I hope that organizers of Running events (like this) placed their registration venues strategically to cater runners who live nearby. Example, here in Quezon City and Caloocan North? huhu… ang pinakamalapit samin Edsa Shang? ang layo padin. dadayo ka na nga sa araw ng takbo pati ba nman sa Registration… Why not Nike Trinoma or Runnr Trinoma.

    DISCLAIMER: personal grievance, hehehe… consider this isolated case…

  86. There is no category for the buddies in the race. this is a pre race activity for those who wants to have a VIP Race Experience. So you need to log in Nikeplus.com to sync in the kilometers you and you buddy have ran prior the race. You can sync in your kilometers using the Nike+ platforms (Ipod & Iphone). The buddies who have logged the biggest kilometers wins.

    But in the race itself it is just the men’s and women’s categories for >24<. So for purposes on saving in the registration you can sign up as buddies for P 1,300 but you will run as individuals.

    That's was the people at Nike Park and RunnR told me yesterday. The same reason I waited for almost 3 hours for someone to come up to register with me….but failed.

  92. Hi, I registered online with a buddy, and paid for 1,300 then they give a “unique link” for my buddy to register but still paid 750. I was a bit confused. How can I confirm my slot?
