  3. Congrats to everyone who join the race. I enjoy it. I love the trail. Its not new to the trails of the mountains that I climbed.Kudo’s to merrell, good job in organizing the event. Looking forward to another merrell adventure run next year..

  4. very well organized trail events and memorable one (it was never easy but not a boring trails)……Thank You to Mr. Remigio, Events King, Timberland Height Administration and Merrell Philippines for having this event. Will see you on your next event.

  5. finished at 41st place in 21km! i thought the biggest challenge for me was endurance, turns out my being inexperienced in long runs (longer than 10k) and the right outfit would cause me to lag behind. at km 15, i started to feel a little pain in my right ankle, minute cramping in my left calf. at km 16, full blown cramps in calves and quads in both legs attacked one after the other. i could only walk at that point on. at km 18, rashes burned between my thighs, enough to send me off walking with bent knees like a chimp to avoid contact between my skin and groundzero trekking shorts. still, i’m happy with my performance. finished among the first 31%. not bad for first time 21k and trail runner =)

i would like to thank these two people. bib 124 for returning my digicam and bib 87 for aiding me with my cramps. and to all others who showed their concern while i’m struggling! hehe! see you next year!

  6. Congrats to all who conquered 21km, survived the 10km and finished the 5km run on the rugged side. HAYOP kau mg organize, walang kasing sama na experience it was the very BEST/ROUGH and very much sleepery trail, Up/Down hill, River crossing, that i have ever conquered. CONGRATS to all the participants, organizer and to you MERREL. Z u next year. HAPPY FATHERs Day to all!!!

  7. Category: 21 km
    Chip Time: 03:20:42
    Pace Time: 00:09:33 per kilometer
I’m very much happy with my time considering that this is my first attempt in joining trail running. Twas a nice experience and good place. Wet surface adds to the adventure of this run. Kudos to all organizers. Definitely, I’ll join for next run series such as this, when will it be? Lesson learned: Be early to have time to warm up to avoid injuries such as shoulder and legs muscle cramps.

  8. Congrats to all the participants, all of you guys did your very best. As for my Personal Run I give credit to GOD first for the will/strength/safety & to Merrell shoes Continuum that I was wearing during the 21K trail race, my shoes responded to the challenge of the slippery, steep, treacherous terrain of the event. Lastly, to the Organizers & sponsors, good job!!! God bless

  9. great run! great trail! great weather! congrats to the organizers and runners! its nice being back in a race for me after several years of sleeping. hehe. no prep at all, though i only joined the 5km run. but i biked my way going to timberland all the way from mandaluyong and back. 28k-5k-28k in all.

  10. Congrats to all who have participated and finishers. Too bad and too sad that this run day turned out to be my father’s burial day. Me (10K#10311) and my fiance (5K#5236) have to go home to the province. I just did a 12K road run there. I hope that there will be another event next year.

  11. @Patok @Pacer

would also love to do trail one time, but have got to practice a whole lot here. coz this is harder than level surface running.

  17. Great run….but just a thought to organizers and runners, maybe we can always remind participants to avoid throwing our garbage like plastic cups and snack bar wrappers along the race route and and instead bring it along the finish line…
