most race organizers are jumping on the bandwagon of exorbitant reg fees including this one… equiv to 3 days salary of a minimum wage earner for a 21k race? really now…

Tsk Tsk, Biruin mo, kung apat na races na tulad nito ang hindi mo sasalihan, yung katapat ng value ng pera mo, isang pair of running shoes na maganda na ang equivalent. Pass muna ako dito, hahanap muna ako ng mas mura pero ok din ang quality ng race.

Dapat ang Theme na katulad ng event na to eh “MONEY-on-EARTH DAY RUN” or “Takbo Para Malusog Aming mga BULSA”… Very Good!!! Next time gawin nyo nang P2,000.00 yung minimum fee o for 3km. Baka nga lugi pa kayo dito eh. Peace to all runners…

I joined last year and i was very disappointed that we only had water in paper cups during the run. And after we finished the race, we had to buy our own drinks.

i remember last year sumali ako dito, mas mura ata reg fee ng kunti. Hindi ako satisfied sa service nila esp with their water stations, ung tubig ang pangit ng lasa. i got disappointed rin after finishing the race kc parang wala lang, tumakbo ka lang then that’s all it! umuwi ka na..hehehe! sorry po… maybe not this year besides may uphill run ako on the same day in Baguio:)

Sir, i suggest for this run event, there will be include of finishers medal for 21k, besides pra hnd cla manghinayang sa bbyaran nila…….

Personally, I joined this race since wala narin ibang 21KM runs. Yung Baguio21K sana kaso I’m not sure if I’ll be able to travel that far. Kalungkot lang kasi mahal, but I guess at least trophy naman ibibigay instead of the usual medal for 21K finishers (pasaway nga lang sa medal collection), at favorite channel ko naman Nat Geo eh… Pero after nito, ayaw ko na talaga patulan mga 21K na ganyan kamahal… Tama na yung Condura at Nat Geo, since yung Globe nga di ko na sinalihan eh.

Grabe mahal gusto ko pa nmn tumakbo huhuhuhu… please please please consider nyo ang mga wlang work… lahat gusto ma experience ang mga big run na tulad nito… wag nyo nmn sana gawin negosyo… to all runners sana pag isipan nyo bago kau mag register pra d tularan ng ibang organizer super mahal uhuhuhuhuhhuhu…

nag register ako online, while the system is processing my registration it says “your time has expired”, but i already entered my credit card number. then i registered again.

My friend has this experience, he registered online and the system failed 2x and on the 3rd time it went ok. But then when he received his credit card billing he found out that he was billed twice for the said registration and until now the organizer is not returning his payment yet(the 2nd try payment processing since the system failed).

I hope it wont happen to me.

hay naku! ang mahal na hindi pa organized!!!! nagparegister kami nung March 9, walabng available na size. The person manning the booth said that magde-deliver ng shirt sa tues, 15 March. Nung pinuntahan nung tues, wala pa din daw delivery. sa saturday na lang daw balikan baka may delivery na. ano ba yun! as if naman ang dami nilang sites na pagre-registeran, eh nag iisa!!!!! nde pa nila ilagay ang maraming T-shirt dun! yun na nga lang ang libre eh! KAINIS!

Attention all Runners that interested to register in Natgeo run. Wala na silang sizes ng T-shirt. I was so disappointed meron pang xxs na nakalagay sa size tapos after3 days ng online registration dapat magpunta ka na para kunin yung t-shirt tapos wala naman palan size. yung size small na tshirt eh duster na ang itsura kapag isinuot ko… san ka naman nanakita ng tumatakbo na naka suot ng duster.. Hindi na raw sila magkakaroon ng small sizes… bago ako nag bayad nagtanong pa ako kung meron pang sizes ang tshirt sabi sa akin meron pa basta 10K at 21… pinagkkakitaan na ngalng talag nila yang mga fun run ngayon… Yung gustong pang magregister mag isip isip muna kayo!

skipping this one… i prefer the night run on April 9… plus i find this too expensive as well… i know it’s my choice whether to join or not… it’s just that i feel we need to voice out that the fee is getting absurd…

@sophi. you are korek!!!! pag register mo, the people there will tell you dadating ang t-shirt on a certain date. then when you come back for it ang statement ay “wala na pong small sizes. XL na lang po ang available”. ano ba ito?!?!?!? nde ka na maka atras kasi nakabayad na. non-refundable ang bayad eh!

My first time. Yaay. I’m not joining for the singlet coz I don’t think they’ll have one in my size. 6’@255lbs = XXXXL. Their XL might not even fit my skeleton lol. I’ll join the 3k and do my usual routine of JOG>WALK>CRAWL.

Ok sana yung natgeo run kung merong detalye tungkol sa cause nila this year. The 2009 run supported Illac Diaz’s Design Against the Elements. Sana maglabas ang mga organizers ng release tungkol sa supposed beneficiary ng patakbo. Maliban dito, hindi na talaga tama maningil ng ganito kamahal. Sinubukan ko rin mag-email sa [email protected] para humingi ng paliwanag at karagdagang detalye pero wala pa rin sagot.

hahaha, puro negative comments dito….tama lang siguro kasi sobrang mahal talaga. I have just run Yakult 10-miler race, very smooth ung race, ang dami nagjoin, mura na registration and maganda pa ung singlet. If Yakult kaya mag fun run ng 300 pesos in all races, why not NatGeo at ang iba pa?

Calling EventKing Corp.- MISSING RACE PACK until now for my NATGEO run. I registered March 8, 2011 pa. While my hubby registered last week, his pack arrived today. Please help!

Maybe there was a switch of addresses. I remember for my Unilab run, another person’s race pack was delivered to my address, so I returned it. Hopefully, they will look into this, other wise pupunta na ako sa Greenpark, Pasig (office nila?)

I am having the same problem. I registered online last March 18 yet, to date, my package has not arrived yet. Is this normal? I did the same, I emailed the secretariat twice already, but just the same, I did not get any reply. Would anyone of you know what might be wrong? :(

I was in Greenbelt last saturday and was about to register at Natgeo Run. Unfortunately the only 4 terminals available are all occupied, so i waited patiently in line. However I noticed that the line keep filing up and those 4 users of the terminal is taking forever to finish. It turned out they were registering not only for themselves but for their friends/companies. So imagine the ordeal? I talked to one of the staff and suggested that they have available terminals for single registrants or those who at register 3 or 4 people, at a maximum, then have separate terminals for those who are registering by bulk. This would ease the queue and would prevent clogging of registrants….but they just shrugged it off…..

To my dismay, I just left and did not register.

Sana naman magkaron sila ng sistema sa pagrehistro. Humahaba ang pila dahil hindi nila hinihiwalay ang maramihang rehistro sa paisa-isa lang or tatlo. Kawawa naman yung mga isa lang ang nirerehistro…magaantay ng matagal.

Me and my friends are registered to run at 10k, can we downgrade it on 5? or even 3k? we’re willing to pay additional fee if needed.

i know they’re trying to raise money but the rates are ridiculous!

my sister and i registered online March 14. personally went to NatGeo Booth in Greenbelt 3 March 15 to pay very expensive reg fee thats why 3K lang kmi. that time, hindi pa avail ung singlets for the 3K and 5K. sabi check daw on March 18 and a number was given to verify. i was out of town last 2 weekends. failed to claim our shirts..
then yday, March 29, went to G3 booth again to find out, stocks were limited and it became 1st come 1st served for the past week. spoke with Joel, one of the releasing guys,sabi ko, ang mahal na nga reg fee nila, tapos yuck pa ung service esp the availability ng shirts, w/c is the only pakwenselo.
maybe their shirt supplier is also busy making for the other fun run’s kaya lagi silang kapos ng stock and unfair dun sa mga early registrants.
oo nga, buti pa nga Yakult Fun Run, been getting lots of positive feedbacks!

since NatGeo is a big name carrier, the organizers shld have made sure, that service will also be at par since the reg fees are so expensive to begin with.
they shld have thought of logistics well esp sa Race Pack. its so easy to collect money from runners and race enthusiasts, ang hindi mapantayan ay yung sistema ng event prior to the race day itself.
ang dating tuloy, amateurish svc is the decription we race victims are getting now… tsk, tsk!

we also joined Hyundai’s Fun Run, hoping theirs is much different, since that one is for FREE!
