“Racewalking is a progression of steps taken in such a way that there is no visible loss of contact to the ground. Furthermore, the advancing leg must be kept straight until vertical with the body. The benefits of Racewalking are similar to that of running–minus the injuries.”
Racewalking might or might not be for you. But if you are interested to know more about this new concept of exercise. Coach Edsel Vengco is conducting clinics starting July 2010 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:30pm in Ultra Oval Track.
